just cause he tied up his finals record last season doesnt mean he might not retire with a losing record

spurs and thunder + a bad eastern conference... sh*t lebron might end up 2 for 7 before hes finished

The two teams that are so much to handle are the two teams he beat to win back to back titles. The Heat are absolutely shook.

I thought the bad conference thing was used against him? The "gauntlet" that is the West will put whoever comes out through so much trouble that Heat will win again. I mean, isn't that the narrative?

You trolls crack me up.

I hope the finals is either Heat/Spurs 2 or Heat/Clippers.

I have no interest in having to play the OKC refs in the finals.

Of course. It's a known law on ISH. How else could Kobe be praised for losing in the first round twice in his prime, including a game 7 choke job?

Off the top of my head, Jerry West, Elgin Baylor, Dr. J have a losing Finals record too... Barkley, Malone... Kevin Durant so far... Dirk and KG are tied at 1-1... A winning Finals record has never been the measure of a player's career. We count the achievements more than the "failures", and getting to the Finals is always a better "failure" than losing in the first round or not making the playoffs at all.

none of those players are top 10 for a reason.

only reason wilt gets a free pass is due to the 100pt game and a 50ppg season

so if lebron ends his career with a losing finals rec... he better start goin stilt mode

no he didnt

a winning finals record is key for a top 10 player all time... it means more often than not when you were expected to get the job done. you did

and yes to all the jackoffs out there asking... losing in the finals is worse than losing in the 1st round or not making the playoffs. because you more than likely werent expected to do anything

when you make it that far it means you have enough help. so its on you as the leader to finish the job

lebron has choked so many times as the favorite

2009, 2010, 2011 .. his teams were expected to win it all.. this year is no different

Oops, miscounted my bad. But still...he lost in the Finals 4 times. I just see don't how Lebron is viewed negatively for making it to the finals 4 years in a row and winning two of them. That's the exact same thing Magic did from 82-85. And Magic had some horrible "choker" moments in the '84 Finals but all is forgiven.

You're like the energizer bunny of Lebron hate Kenneth. If nothing else, your sheer undeterred will to comment on a player you infinitely dislike probably until your dying breathe, upon which you shall utter the words "f*k Lebron", should be applauded for its unwavering quality.

Don't give a fukk (not to mention that D. Rose's Bulls had better offensive players than Lebron had in Cleveland, and D. Rose's Bulls never even made it to the Finals so I have no idea what you're talking about).

In the OP you implied that it would have been better for them to have not made the playoffs at all than have gone to the Finals and lost.
