No offense, but Hockey is BY FAR the most boring sport to watch next to Soccer.

You just ice skate and try to score. The puck rarely goes it. You just see pushing and shoving for a long ass time.

Only good thing about Hockey is the fights.

I don't understand hockey. Olympic hockey is only moderately watchable for me, because they seem to fight less.

Any sport that involves fighting, or where fighting is allowed is laughable and should be amateur.

Hockey requires ten times more skill than basketball.

It's funny when people degrade a sport by simplifying it to a ridiculous degree.

"Basketball is boring. It's just a bunch of dudes trying to throw a ball in a hoop and there is hardly any physical contact. Only good thing about basketball is the dunks"

Its fun to watch because you actually see guys scoring the ball, unlike hockey where you see a point every 10 minutes.

"Basketball is boring. It's just a bunch of dudes trying to throw a ball in a hoop and there is almost no physical contact. Only good thing about basketball is the dunks"
This.

One of the biggest examples of this is tennis. If you're a casual sports fan and flip channels, land on a tennis match, you're very likely not going to like it. But if you play tennis, have a decent understanding of the game, and know how impressive the stuff the pros do is, tennis can be a joy to watch. 140mph serves, constant rapid motion, it's pretty damn exciting when you're watching the right players.

Every sport has its value, it's just not readily apparent to everyone.

You got the #1 pick in a pretty good draft your team will come around soon enough and you got a great goalie in lu!

The opposite end of this is that there's no point to watching the first three quarters of basketball. Everything before the last few minutes of game feels irrelevant. In hockey, every score counts.

90's Trapping style Hockey really killed the game for this generation of fans. The game has become more exciting and free flowing since then but fans are set to thinking Hockey is boring.

Heck even low scoring games are exciting in the NHL if the scoring opportunities are there but goaltending is sharp.

Playoff hockey is exciting, the intensity is unmatched and there is nothing like sudden death overtime. The anticipation is what I enjoy the most about hockey.

Finally I don't understand how people view the game as a mad scramble or can't see the puck. I have the worst vision but have no issues seeing the puck.

Baseball is also considered boring to some but I really enjoy the strategies involved especially late in games. Never knowing when or how scores happen is enjoyable for me at least. Reason why I can thoroughly enjoy 19 inning extra game.

Oh don't worry. I know we should get Reinhart. Scouting the draft is my speciality and I don't see any forward but Reinhart being an option at two. Bennett's game isn't as impressive to me as some find it. Too risky. Reinhart is so smart and safe.

so because you don't understand the game it sucks? fighting is part of the game, in a sport where the guy you're going against is slashing your wrists and hands with a stick and smashing you into a wall tempers are gonna boil over. or throw your goon out there to try to bait a good player on the other team into a fight to get him off the ice for 5 minutes.

Mackinnon with 3 assists in his first playoff game, including the goal to tie it with 13 seconds left and the OT winner. Only 18 too, craaazy. Staz with the goal to tie and to win it, read somewhere that it's the first time ever I think.

Varly after a Vezina like season disappointed, and after the 1st period Avs were kinda meh till the end.

I'm a Torontonian and I play, so it's sorta in my blood.

With the Leafs not having made the cut I don't have a player in this race so I made sure to join a pool to make things a little more captivating for me. The first round has always been my favourite next to the finals as we're often exposed to some of the best hockey all year.

I have a shit ton of your players on my fantasy team so I was cheesed at that result too. Was hoping I'd get the extra shutout points from Tukka as well.

I still see Boston taking this series down but Detroit is gunna be no easy out. I'm saying Bruins in 7...

The kid is something special and has been playing like a 5 year vet throughout the whole year. Crazy first output by Staz as well. Showing that leadership when they needed it most...

Also - ballsy move by Roy in opting to pull Varly earlier than convention dictates. I liked it...

Yeah broke 99's record for point streak as an 18 year old. 13 games or something.

Roy is crazy like that. It's worked alot this season. There was a game against Boston this year where he pulled the goalie with like 5 minutes left or something really absurd like that. If were down by 2 he pulls it quickly too.
