Suns aim to keep Eric Bledsoe in free agency

McDonough says the backcourt of Bledsoe and Goran Dragic is as good as any in the league.

Bledsoe is a restricted free agent and McDonough has repeatedly said the Suns will match any offer another team may make. He says the Suns would prefer to work out a deal before free agency begins.

Smart move. Last season the Suns hold onto the idea to see how much Bledsoe can deliver before paying him big. But now Bled will probably want to see the offers from the rest of the league. Nonetheless I hope they can work something out.
