A leaflet distributed in Donetsk, Ukraine calling for all Jews over 16 years old to register as Jews marred the Jewish community's Passover festivities Monday (Passover eve), replacing them with feelings of concern.

The leaflet demanded the city's Jews supply a detailed list of all the property they own, or else have their citizenship revoked, face deportion and see their assets confiscated.

Why is this not shown on western news? Ukraine wants its jews to register their religion. Ukraine is the side USA is supporting right?:facepalm

It is on western news. Maybe not in your country, but yes, we are being told of it.

Everything we disagree with is "nazi." Watch RT and there's segments on how Estonia is a fascist nazi nation because they don't like Russians. Listen to conservative talk radio and they'll claim that Obama is a nazi fascist. Wave a German flag outside of a football match and you'll be assaulted by antifa.

I'm tired of everything disagreeable being nazi.

asking jews to register is as nazi as anything can possibly get, fool.

ALSO Estonia is like 70% white supremacists. Go there and see it for yourself if you don't believe me.

The Nazis were a political party. I believe the word you're looking for is "anti-Semitic."

You're shitting on Estonia? Are you a Russian m8?

Pffft....

So because it's not multicultural and not on good terms with Russia it's neo-nazi? I'm sorry, but I don't recall national rallies and military marches with swastikas...nor do I recall any expansionist desires. I suppose you think Finland is neo-nazi because of conscription? I'm not following your logic.

To accuse the nation of Estonia of neo-nazism is as ridiculous as accusing Russia of being "neo-Bolshevik" or neo-Imperial. Except the Russian government at least has the capabilities and is exhibiting behavior that is in line with its predecessors.

The flyers are made by the pro-Russian temporary government of Donetsk. Which is the exact opposite of the side the U.S. are supporting. Also, it's not "Ukraine" as a whole, but the self proclaimed local government of a specific region with a pro-Russian agenda (the flyer is written in Russian and has it's flag on it)

So nothing to see here :sleeping

Nick Young Fail #1 Here's that underground news source USA Today reporting on it, three days before Nick Young is outraged about the news blackout. (http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2014/04/17/jews-ordered-to-register-in-east-ukraine/7816951/)

Nick Young Fail #2 The leaflets were not from the Ukranian government and then men handing them out clearly wanted people to know they were pro Russian, as the flag of the Russian Federation was on their balaclavas.

Nick Young Fail #3 The flyers were signed on behalf Denis Pushilin*, who is the leader of the Pro-Russian separatist (http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/04/14/us-ukraine-crisis-donetsk-idUSBREA3D1A320140414)s who took over buildings in Donetsk, Ukraine and formed their own republic. So their are pro-Putin.
Nick Young and geopolitics? hahahaha
:facepalm Three sentences, three fails.

*He has denied these fliers are real. So we are left with hoax fliers are either part of somebody's disinformation campaign or an extortion attempt. (http://time.com/67272/ukraine-jew-register-donetsk/)

I believe these particular order for jewish people to register their property was from the pro russian side.

But obviously there is significant anti jewish sentiment among both sides. Eastern europe has a history of heavily discriminating against jews. Even randomly killing them from time to time.

I got to admit, putin is doing what I thought was impossible a few months ago. Annexing european territories in the 21st century. Everybody basically defacto accepts that crimea belongs to russia now. If putin takes areas in the east and south of ukraine, I dont think the US does anything more than scolding putin and sanctions.

The sanctions will fail because the Europeans wont be willing to live without russian energy and China will buy russian energy to make up the difference.

I still think obama will militarily defend nato allies in the region if it comes to that.

It's not really "going nazi", the nazis were a political party and if you had any brain cells you would know that many countries in europe have expelled and had laws that singled out the jewish population through out history. It wasn't just Germany that had a problem with jewish people their just the ones who took it to horrific levels.

Virtually all European antisemites these days express an admiration for Hitler and the nazi party. For practical intents and purposes they pretty much are neo-nazis.
