Why is Easter only two days long? Friday to Sunday is two days, yes? Did he die on Midnight on Thursday/Friday and rise on midnight on Sunday/Monday? Genuine question.

This is not a discussion for your feelings towards religion. Im just asking about this particular facet of Christianity and about how Easter is celebrated (which is Friday to Sunday). It has always befuddled me.

It is more likely that Jesus is going to be reborn than Lebron coming back to the Cavs when his contract up.

I thought jesus wasn't even crucified around the easter period, pretty sure it only falls on these days because it fit in with the existing pagan holidays the romans had when they converted and held all those conferences with constantine on figuring out the foundations of Christianity. Same with christmas not being Jesus birthday. Anyway I'm not religious but theres no doubting a man named we now called jesus (his name wasn't actually jesus is was yeshua or something from memory) lived and preached and was crucified, but many many many other prophets did the same thing before and after him his teachings just caught on and in my opinion they added more and more spiritual stories like the resurrection.

On the third day, he rose again is the language used.

They didn't say he was dead for 72 hours.
