LeBron just passed Larry Bird for 8th on the All Time Playoff Scoring List with 3,898 Points :applause:

LeBron had 27 Points in Game 1 vs Bobcats

LeBron scored 3.898 Points in 139 Games, 28.1 PPG. (47.2% FG)

Larry scored 3,897 Points in 164 Games, 23.8 PPG. (47.2% FG)

LeBron needed 25 Games less to do it

This regular season LeBron James also surpassed Larry Bird in career points and career assists as well. Larry is a forever legend and LeBron is making his legend too.

LeBron isn't known for his scoring because he's just as good on the aspects of the game. There aren't many players with 28+ ppg in the playoffs while his main thing is not being a scorer. We have to appreciate that.


But let's not get carried away.

Tim Duncan; 4641 playoff points in 212 games
Karl Malone; 4761 playoff points in 193 games
For example.

I'm not saying Bird>LeBron or LeBron>Bird. Just, there is a better(more logical to be specific) way to appreciate all-time greats.
