These last 2 days have been the most terrible officiating I have ever seen, calls missed, calls gone wrong, all these new referees may need to go back to referee college I hope it gets better 2 teams have lost because of bad officiating now, Clippers and Rockets

Any call under two minutes SHOULD be reviewed and aloud to change to the correct call don't matter if it had already been decided you should be aloud a challenge

There has always been iffy officiating since I started watching nba basketball like super star calls. But it seems like the officiating is at a all time worse..it's really really bad. It's not just in one game but several games.

Rockets lost because of bad officiating? are you kidding me? they blew a double-digit lead in the 4th quarter, Blazers lost Lopez & Aldridge. Howard cost them the game with his horrible FT shooting early in the 4th + missing a FT in OT & committing a foul in OT, making it a 2-point swing for the Blazers & Harden was garbage, half of his shots were 3s and he missed like 20 shots in a game that was decided by one possession.

I thought it added more drama to the Clippers/Warriors and Rockets/Blazers game since they were equally or close to it awful both ways. The other games were not really noticable.

In the Rox/Jailblazers game they should have just let them play. We're evenly matched teams so games are gonna be close anyway.

Every year people complain.

For the most part it has been fine. Basketball is probably the hardest sport in the world to officiate, and the referees do a good enough job as is. You have fans wanting every call reviewed, then you have others saying just get on with it. You'll never make everyone happy.

Basketball is dynamic, up and down the whole time, and you're dealing with probably the best overall athletes in the world. Guys are running up and down the court in 3 or 4 seconds, jumping 40 inches in the air, dunking, running through people, getting physical.

It is fine IMO. You get bad calls with every sport. Sometimes you're on the end of a bad one, and you get upset, but at the same time, it adds to the beauty of sport IMO. Gives it the extra drama.

End rant...

This. Let them be physical inside the whole game.

I wonder if they'll ever let the call be changed or even a new call be made within the last 2 minutes. Just when Chris Paul should've been awarded 2 free throws, or when Howard shouldn't have picked up his 6th foul. I really don't see why not, if it's so important that they get the right call, then why can't they change it entirely?

it is what it is, the better team pulls through, end of story.

Not sure about your definition of "athletic" but soccer players have been crowned the most fit people on earth. But you're right. I've been on this board for years and every year it's literally the same exact response. In fact, I've seen the same responses of games in this regular season.

I'm not saying any of the games were officiated in definite favor of either team, but regardless the officiating has been TERRIBLE! Can we get some new refs or something? Seriously, it's bad.

It's hard in the heat of the game, and humans make mistakes. I don't tend to call out refs unless it's obvious rigging. What doesn't make sense to me is that they have the ability to replay in the final 2 minutes but are not able to call fouls, like the CP3 foul the other day. That's nonsensical.
