It's McHale's fault for not getting this team ready for specific teams. There was no gameplan going in...more of a "hey, let's try this out, close our eyes, and hope it works".

You leverage EVERYTHING you got when it's a game as important as last night's was. Asik should have been in to guard LMA in crunch time until he fouled out.

It was certainly better than the feeble attempt TJones gave.

I was amazed that Asik wasn't in the game late in OT. We needed every single rebound and inside presence we could get, and we sure as hell wasn't getting it from Jones. That last tip in from Aldridge could have been prevented

Dwight would only guard him on a switch. My guess is Howard would be in quick foul trouble if he guarded LA. He would bite on his pumps. Sad part is, if you were a DPOY big man, you should be stepping up to the challenge and guarding their best big man. They have no answer for LA but if you double LA, it opens up their 3pt game, I think mchale rather give them the 2

Because LMA is not going to post up Howard. That's a fact. He's going to face up and shoot jumpers. The problem with that is you want Howard as close to the basket as possible because Houston's perimeter defense is pretty bad.
