Poor man's Anthony Davis?

A few things here:

The #10 play is Julius giving the up and under scoop with his right hand. He doesn't need to be able to develop his right handed shot as much as he needs to work on his confidence in his ability to go right handed. I think once he gets that confidence up, and his ability to pass out of the double team, he'll be impossible to defend against.

He's strong and athletic. He'll get bigger, and stronger, and more athletic, he's 19 years old. I think he is a similar player to rookie Blake Griffin. Not saying he is Griffin, but his game will resemble Griffin's style and by age 22, after almost 2 1/2 years in the league, he will not be a teenager anymore, he'll be a man. I think he could reach Griffin status and that's worth drafting him in the first 2 picks.

Poor man's Anthony Davis?

On topic: Randlle fits nicely on the Kings. They need another consistent body inside and they have a huge gap at PF.

Off topic: The last thing the Celtics need is another PF. They need to ship Olynyk or Sullinger and get a competent Center. Olynyk is not a Center. He may be 7 feet, but he's got a small wingspan for his size and the game of a 4, plus the range to be a nice stretch 4.

Poor man's Anthony Davis?
:facepalm How are they even remotely similar players? SMH.

They are the last two dominant PFs from Kentucky, so of course this draws a reasonable comparison. Why are you so surprised?

They don't play a like at all. Davis played center in college.

Whenever his career is finished in the NBA his career averages will be less than those except for the FT %.

They're pretty much nothing alike. At all. Aside from position, I guess.

Are you from the future? What's good with holograms? How many years until they're cheap enough to come out of phones?

He isn't even Z-Bo.

Randolph has a 7"6 wingspan.

Randle isn't even 7".

Randle has the motor of a Kenneth in the body of a SF. Look at some of his highlights, he is built like a mini Lebron, but is only 6"8.

He will be an issue on defense guarding 6"10 players in the post.

Julius will be one unique player coming into the pros.

Honestly, the best comparison I can make for him is Anthony Bennett with a smaller wingspan. And I'm not talking about the NBA's Anthony Bennett, I'm talking UNLV's Bennett translated into the NBA. He'll have the same problem being matched with the right player to guard Bennett was projected to have, but still the offense of the two of them is too good to miss.

Hes similar to Blake in size, strength, both can handle the ball well, the difference is Blake NOW has a jumpshot when in his rookie season, he didnt. Give him two years to work on his jumper, his right hand, and give him time to grow physically...

Im telling ya he's Blake Griffin.

Would be happy to pick him up, as long as Danny is looking at signing Asik or trading for a solid C.

Don't see where he would fit on the Celtics. But trading for Asik and sliding Randle at the 4 would be nice.
