I don't. Just asking in general. Reminds me of exactly how young I was when I started browsing this forum. I think I was 12 when I made my first account (MightyMouse) that Jeff never activated. I'd lurked this forum for a while before that, but was kinda nervous about joining. I read my posts from back then and it reminds me of how much I changed and how different I am now.

Yeah, mostly the ones about attacking people for not liking the rap I like.

I don't actually cringe, but I'd laugh at someone doing that now.

In a few years time, you're going to look back at your 15 year old self and cringe too.

If god is proven to exist what would happen?

Lets just assume for a moment that God/Allah whatever you wish to call it is found. I mean concrete proof of a being with inconceivable power that is responsible for creating us. Also heaven is found with him. A physical place within human reach. Do you think in time people would grow to hate it and possibly consider it an enemy of mankind? Think about this for a minute. A creature beyond your understanding comes to earth. Tells you what to do and how to live your life with his only reason being "Because I said so" and anyone who doesn’t do what he says goes to a lake of fire that burns but does not consume. He watches you 24/7 365. He hears your thoughts and he knows everything about you. He has the power to wipe you and everyone you love out in an instant. Isn’t that a little spooky? Don’t you think tat at some point he would be looked at as just another threat to freedom?

Im sure when he first showed himself it would be all well and good. People would play nice and avoid premarital sex and love thy neighbor and not get drunk and so on. But that would grow old fast. Eventually someone would decide to do what they wanted and to make his life’s mission to speak out against the well intentioned bossy dictator with "his finger on the button" above. If god decided to destroy this man(and he probably would. being vengeful and all) don’t you think more and more people would agree about this thing being just a dictator and a threat to human kind? Im sure some people and countries would be scared to act. But a lot of people would push for action to be taken(knowing America we would launch "Operation Divine Intervention" and try to kill god). Do you think at some point a physical war between Earth and Heaven would come about? I think it would. Of course a war vs. God would be pointless if he decided to go the "I don’t have time for this just send in a flood" route but id imagine he’d keep it fair. If he were going to interfere there would be no need for the final good/evil battle because he could end without effort. Id imagine God would sit back and watch the battle between heavens forces and the combined might of the World.

I may be going a little far in assuming that there would be a world united to free itself from Gods oppression but you get the point. If god is proven to exist the world would be a crazy place to live. I think most Christians are followers because the Bible COULD be true not because they believe all of it to be true without doubt. I think Christians would be LESS holy if some guy came up (that could somehow prove he were god) and read off the needlessly long list of things he wont let you do. I think people would be angry if they KNEW there was actually a physical creature somewhere forcing them to do it his way or burn in hell. This is getting long so ill wrap it up. If god is found do you think life for the most part will stay the same? OR will everyone do the obedient thing for a while until someone in a position of power decides the human race will be controlled no more? Which seems more likely to you?

Ive been making TLDR posts since you were 4. Hell before that. Id been on here for 2 years then.

again, what? the in character i was referring to was foutz. that was forever ago.

there was another "the iron shiek" account but it's spelled "shiek" instead of "sheik" so that's probably where the confusion comes from.

Reading every one of your posts makes me cringe. I think you have the worst grammar I've ever seen on the Internet from a person with English as their first language :lol (correct me if I'm wrong about that and English is not your first language). If it's not your first language, you could at least put a better effort into learning the language.

Actually its very interesting to do that every now and then, when you feel nostalgic or when the NBA is in off-season with nothing much to do/say about the ongoing games. I actually check my old posts a lot on other forums, but since ISH does not allow users to search for old threads/posts I seldom do it here.

Not really.

I'm actually becoming more and more of a horrible **** each year as I get older. I was a much nicer person when I was in my early-mid twenties.

Game 7 of the 2010 Finals, I posted up and down that Celts got jobbed by the insane amount of free throws the Lakers got in the 4th quarter of that game.

At the start of the next season, I cringed at those posts and owned up to a serious "umad" moment.

It was home cooking, to be sure...but the C's choked the second half of that 4th quarter away on their own. It seemed like they were going out their way to take poor shots and not rebound the ball.

Like Prof said, years at the end of my life are lost to me because of that game.
