What is the point of an alternate account?

It appears registration is reopened, but I don't think the majority is ACTUAL new members

Unless you've been banned or use it to entertain other posters with a quick gimmick what is the point? Are you trying to get banned?
Serious question. It just seems like they are pointlessly created for personal entertainment, which to me seems like a waste of time.

Thats why literally every poster whose pic I have not seen or who has a long standing history here but has not posted a pic for obvious reasons (kevinyc, niko, bagelred, droid, most other liberal losers who are probably extremely ugly).... I just assume all other accounts (save a handful i know are nick youngs) to be Josh. And most of them are.

You have people posting Lebron/Kobe/Durant/Jordan trolling from all sides anything to elicit a response

or in the case like Jameer he puts on an act that hes a 15 yr black kid in Alabama who loves Anime and is a Magic fan(an irrelevant franchise so stays under the radar on bb talk) and is allowed free reign to troll on other things and uses his alts to back up his act of being a 15 yr ol kid.

So they make an argument, and then have another account agree with them.

Alternatively, they make an argument on their man account, and use an alt to disagree in an offensive/strawman method, in an attempt to discredit people that disagree with them.

Having alts seems to only have negative connotations. People should really assess their free time if this is what they do to entertain themselves
