Dwight has James Harden, Parsons, Asik, one of the best perimeter defenders in Beverly, Lin, etc.... and he still cant do jack shit... literally the most overatted piece of shit of all time

To be fair to Noah, the talent level on each team is not equal.
One has two superstars, a rising small forward, and one of the best defensive centers in the NBA.
Another team is missing their superstar and basically gave away another all star for nothing.
Not comparable.

But one team has a great coach and the other has one of the top 5 worst coaches in the league.

Lol who knows
I'm just saying one team has their full roster not playing well, and the other is basically patched together with an incredibly fortunate Augustin signing.
Add Rose and Deng back to the roster and I would put my money on Chicago being 2-0.
There's no excuses for the Rockets and Dwight.

Rockets are arguably the most talented team in the NBA. They are at least in the top 3. The Rockets were never going to win a title this year anyway.
Getting swept does a few things.
1. Gets rid of McHale, I've been saying for years now that he is a terrible coach. I never believed in him. He's good at motivation, that's his only calling card. That's not enough.
2. Motivates Morey to question his philosophy, or at least confirm that this team is not constructed properly. Lacking defensively, Asik is a goner in the offseason because having him as a back-up is a luxury that we cannot afford. Too many other holes we need to fill out to balance the team.
3. Forces Harden to look at himself in the mirror. This guy needs figure himself out. There is no guarantee that he will or want to though, there have been many guys who never get "it" and become afterthoughts.
Anyways, this is year 1 of the Dwight/Harden experiment. Rockets are the youngest team in the NBA. Barring major misfortune, they'll win 50+ games for the next 3 seasons, probably longer.

The wizards would be a 35 win team in the west.
The Bulls lost to the Wizards even after getting all of the calls in game 2
The Blazers are playing amazing g basketball so far with LaMarcus Aldridge playing like he's Hakeem Olajuwon in his prime.

You understand that if James Harden didn't shrivel up into the little piece of shit that he genuinely is, the Rockets would be up 2-0, right?
Dwight's stats may be a bit misleading, but he's come out to play. He's producing, and at a higher level than in the regular season.
Unfortunately for him, his disgusting "#2" has been playing like he's a ****ing high schooler scared shitless being on the court with professionals.

All of that is subjective lol. You have every right to pretend those are facts though.
Dwight's average post game eclipses what Noah can do in the post no doubt, freakish athleticism, and has a bigger body for guarding the post. He could handle Nene.
Noah has better mobility, being able to guard the perimeter in a pinch, superior ball handling skills and court vision. He's not a liability on the free throw line either.
Both are hated but for different reasons. Dwight and his playfulness, Noah and his passion.
They're almost two completely different types of players.
I reference Rose and Deng because if they were playing, Chicago would be a totally different team. More open shots due to Deng and Rose penetration. Butler and Hinrich would not have to play so many minutes. Thibs is literally squeezing every ounce of talent out of that team.
Should they be down 0-2? They shouldn't even have made the playoffs with that talent.
Rockets fans though lol:
Man if only we could:
Replace Jones and Lin with Kevin Love and Rondo
Sign Ryan Anderson coming off the bench
Get Phil Jackson coaching with Hollins, JVG and George Karl as assistants
Then we'd be able to compete with the Blazers talent level, its not fair. Plus they have the experience, were still a young growing team. All the calls go against us as well.

The bigger question here is, switch the two players around and does anything change? The two are effectively equal defensively but it's undeniable that Howard does more scoring which is the Bulls' biggest weakness. Probably if you switched them it'd still be 0-2 in both series

Nah he couldn't not with the way Nene (hitting mid range jumpers non stop) has been playing and you could easily make a counter argument saying Noah could handle LMA.

Way too many variables to even consider if they switch teams. Both team offense's and defense's would look wildly different, and if were talking start of the season, both teams would probably have different players surrounding them.
My whole point was that they are too different to really compare straight up and say one is better than the other.
Marc Gasol would be a better comparison to Noah.
As far as the 0-2 thing goes, I'm just surprised that people are "surprised" that they're in that position, or why anyone thought they would manhandle the Wizards who have a pretty solid 9 man rotation. The Bulls talent level overall is probably comparable to Charlotte. They're the underdogs.
The expectation from a talent standpoint was that they would be bottomfeeders after losing Deng. All of a sudden they're disappointments lol.
Wizards don't get enough credit IMO, they're finally playing to their talent level and would be a tough matchup for Miami should they meet.

The first two games, Dwight is averaging 30/15/4 on 52% and is also making 63% of his FT's. Dwight is most certainly not the one who should be blamed for these losses. Noah is putting up 15/11/4 on 60%. Dwight >>> Noah and it's not even close. I know it's a minuscule sample size, but Dwight is a flat out better player.

Pick him based on what lol? Are we talking one on one?
They each have different skillsets, I would pick the player that best fits the team personnel.

Its not Noah's primary job to score though so of course the stats will favor Dwight.
At this point they each play a different role for their teams on offense, Noah's job is to facilitate the offense, look for cutters and set screens for his team to get better looks, then get offensive boards.

Yet, Noah has about half the ORB's that Dwight has (in the playoffs) and he only has 7 assists. Anyway you look at it, Dwight is a better center. Sure, Noah is a better passer, but Dwight is scoring TWICE as many points as Noah. It would've been discussion worthy, if Noah was putting up 15/11/4 and Dwight was putting up 20/11/2, but that's not the case. 30/15/4.
No offense, but anyone who says that they would take Noah over Dwight is either just a stupid troll or they don't understand basketball.

Yes they play different roles; but since the game began the role Howard plays has generally been considered a more important role than what Noah does. I'm not sure why people are making this so difficult.

If they play different roles for their respective teams, what is the point in comparing two guys who have completely different skillsets. Just because they play the same position? Even on defense they have different roles.

Its ISH, where people overreact when a player gets hot or cold. I still think Dwight is the better C overall, but I'd give Noah this season because he was the leader of the Bulls team and some of his numbers were eye opening for a C.

Dwight is playing well, it's harden that is choking, like he did in 2012 finals
