Im looking at some of the playoff shots per game so far...

LBJ is only taking 16.6 shots per game whereas dudes like Durant are chucking up almost 27 shots per game at a lower FG% rate:biggums: I think lebron should start shooting more and stp wasting time with the likes of Cole and Rashard Lewis putting up bricks.

Manu should take more than 11 shots per game

Maybe in charlotte.

So you want LeBron to become Kobe? LeBron is so good because he chooses not to chuck, and always make the right play, not because he can score 50 points.

Yeah, I was thinking going into the playoffs that Lebron road games will have him shooting more.

I think vs Charlotte it might be better for him to take it relatively easy and let his teammates build some confidence but in the long run (I.e. when they play real competition) he definitely needs to be more aggressive ala 2012.

Pretty much this. I would love for Lebron to take more shots if they are efficient.

Lebron have already been shellfish for taking 2 superstars from the east, and voodoo magic on the remaining superstars in the east.

LeBron wants to be efficient. Not a inefficient chucker like Kobe.

LeBron is usually efficient to a fault, so yes, he should be taking at least three more shots per game

LeBron just can't take layups when ever he wants.

LeBron should take 18-20 shots per game. he would still have the same FG%.
he often doesnt shoot when the opponent makes a comeback and keeps setting up his teammates for bricks. only when a ten point lead is down to 2 or 3 he starts shooting again. that is fuqing dumb and cost the Heat a few games already.
yesterday it was the same. he should become the go to scorer everytime another team makes a run and only pas if the defense really overloads on him.
18-20 shots is what he should take per game:coleman:

Nope. The Heat are up 2-0. He's doing what it takes for his team to win. If they were down 2-0 then I would say, Yes.

the deeper they go into the playoffs, he is going to have to.

miami does not have one guy on that team that you can call consistent. the heat are damn near cavs status right now.

Should definitely take around 20 shots, at least.

Him shooting more is never a negative.

So? Winning doesn't mean the Team can't get better... or is anywhere near perfection.

It would definitely be a lot better with a more agressive LeBron, taking 20 shots a game... You get 30+ PPG on 50+% :confusedshrug:

I don't mean I want him to chuck like Kobe:oldlol: Im talking more like 20-22 shots per game. lebron is always going to be eff do 4-5 shots per game isn't going to hurt. I rather lebron get those extra shots than rashard lewis:banghead:

It doesn't work like that, because he doesn't need to shoot more for them to win.

A scorer of LeBron's caliber should definitely be taking around 20 shots per game.

LBJ, Wade and Chalmers all having career year in FG%

guess why

Later in the playoffs he will have to, but right now he doesn't need to...

These comments bug the fcuk outta me... I mean, so what? Why not win and have an all time great score at a higher rate?

Here, easily explained:

That's not the point. The point is if they are winning there is no need to take any more shots. Yes. They can get better, but that doesn't necessarily entail him attempting more field goals. They could actually get better by playing better defense and rebounding better. But again, if you are winning (which is the goal of playing the game) the "need" for changes is minimized.
