Westbrook can score but he's not really known as a sharp shooter and he has a tendency to take bad shots. If you can keep him out of the paint, ala the way Tony Parker is often guarded, think it helps.

Sadly your in the ballpark. I believe westbrook sees his talent to be equal to kd and for some reason feels like he gets slighted.

Watch last possession of the quarter plays when they are both in. 1 out of 2 he will keep the ball for himself and take the last shot regardless if kd is hot or not. Kd sometimes looks at him with his hands ready but its like westbrook gives him the look that says "nah you got it last quarter this one is mine".
