Maybe Westbrook will wake up and realize that as long as he's the team's point guard, he needs to balance his aggressiveness with facilitation.

Maybe Scott Brooks will wake up and get a ****ing clue himself. I don't understand why they don't run more pick and roll sets with WB and KD. ISO ball is the easiest play to defend in the NBA :facepalm

ChuckBrook is a PG. Only 2 guards should be shooting as much as he is (unless you're Durant:pimp: ).

definitely makes you wonder...same can be said for the Heat with Wade/James, it's a killer strategy than neither Scott Brooks or Spo exploit :confusedshrug:

It's obvious. When you run pick and roll with Lebron and Wade often teams will just switch it, which is why they use Chalmers and Bigs to run pick and roll because they are guarded by bad defenders.

The thunder do run Pick and Roll with Durant and Westbrook. I see it every game. :confusedshrug:

Their WB/KD pick and roll isn't as prevalent as their ISO nonsense.

He's generally right though. It's like if you're playing the Heat you'd rather force Wade or Bosh to go off than Lebron. Westbrook can score but he's not really known as a sharp shooter and he has a tendency to take bad shots. If you can keep him out of the paint, ala the way Tony Parker is often guarded, think it helps.

I don't get it either. IMO they should be able to absolutely murder people with P&Rs as their main offense.

Big mistake saying that. You don't want to say anything that could fire up Westbrook. I predict a 30+ point game in game 3. Over 50% from the field.

Symptom of simplistic coaching.

Rick Adelman would have this team scoring at will.

Sadly your in the ballpark. I believe westbrook sees his talent to be equal to kd and for some reason feels like he gets slighted.

Watch last possession of the quarter plays when they are both in. 1 out of 2 he will keep the ball for himself and take the last shot regardless if kd is hot or not. Kd sometimes looks at him with his hands ready but its like westbrook gives him the look that says "nah you got it last quarter this one is mine".

Westbrook Game 3

9-26 4-13 3pt 8-12 ft 30 pts 13 reb 2 ast

As far as the game goes, he launched 13 triples tonight which is broke his previous high of any game in his NBA career of 10. Westbrook missed some wide open passes to teammates and didn't hand out his first assist until 6:35 left in the fourth quarter.
