View Full Version : Nobody deserves to take more heat for this loss than KD.

Absolutely no one. And KD's my favorite player in the league. Just disappointing.

IB he scored 28 pts :lol

Honestly, that's the most empty 28 pts i've ever seen.

When your stars shoot 10/27 and 9/26 you're not gonna win much of anything. That has nothing to do with Brooks.

Westbrook badly needs to improve his passing skills.

It's all because they lack offensive execution and team ball. All they do is ISO.

So many bricks from Durant tonight. And the refs bailed him out a few times at the end, but he still couldn't turn it around.

Westbrick 0-6 in OT and 1-3 FT. So clutch.

It certainly does. We know Durant can shoot, Brooks needs to get Durant some easier buckets.

Take it easy guys, Lebron would've shat his pants against Memphis. He's lucky he's playing in the weak eastern conference and against the Bobcats.

He took a terrible three pointer that could of went to a better play late in the fourth playing hero. That was bad.

Durant should be able to get easy buckets or know how to pass out of a double team in order to get someone else an easy bucket. Scott Brooks can't make Westbrook a better shooter. When a chucker like Westbrook is your PG you love and die with that. They're never gonna win a championship w him as their PG. Not gonna happen and it's not Brooks fault. Sit back and watch when they get a new coach.

:oldlol:

Such a stupid post.

The East has many great defensive teams, and for the past three years all Lebron has done is own them. Indiana multiple times, Chicago multiple times, and Boston twice (before KG left) to name a few.

I'd love to see him get presented the MVP in an '07 Dirk fashion.

(Nothing against Dirk. Everything against Kevin.)

KD finesse/ref ball is getting exposed in the playoffs by the brutal physical Memphis front court.

This is why DMAVS and I were arguing with the lot of you stat whores about why waiting til the end of the playoffs to determine if KD was better than "Kobe ever was" was essential....

I don't think I have ever seen a more empty stats game, and I watched the 02-03 cavs... I wouldn't have known Durant was out there if the tv was on mute. The announcers mentioned his name every minute.

Prime Baron Davis is better than this *****. I would even take prime World B Free over Russell Westbrook.

Durant and Westbrook both took a lot of quick, low percentage 3's that kept the Thunder from truly making a comeback.

04-24-2014, 11:40 PM
I want the Thunder to win it all, just because we need the drama of Thunder-Heat...but if they continue to play this wrecklessly on offense, they deserve a first round exit. When you are as talented as KD and Westbrook, and you settle for bad threes in crunchtime when the lane is wide open, I cannot defend them at all. Even worse is - how in the world does Scott Brooks let them do this ad nauseum? Bleh.

If you don't think Chicago, Indiana, and Boston 2011 and 2012 were good defensive teams, then this is not a conversation worth having.

Face it, KD is fukkin up right now and fukked up in his last playoff series too.

Meanwhile, Lebron has played in 12 playoff series over the past three years and has looked great in 10 of them.

People just can't accept the fact that the Thunder were a much better team when they had Harden and Green. Green and Durant were a great scoring duo, and we all know Harden brought that scoring punch off the bench. We all knew Harden was gonna bounce regardless, but the Thunder shoulda kept Jeff Green instead of trading him, and they shoulda stuck to bringing Ibaka off the bench. Thunder woulda had a championship by now if they woulda kept Westbrook,Green, and KD together.

What's really pathetic is that Durant is getting locked down by a dude 7 inches shorter than him. Can you imagine a 6'1 pg trying to guard LeBron? He would get steam-rolled over every possession.
