Somebody who watched the whole game, tell me

what is happening to their team? What are Memphis doing thats working so well?

Not really Memphis. It's OKC playing lazy D and a predictable offence that involves ISO ball and continual contested shots that are very low percentage.

without checking memphis won 50 games....their best player gasol (arguably) miss 23 games this year....Memphis is a damn good team and could have pushed for 60 wins this year.

so to answer your question nothing is happening to OKC that shouldn't be.

OKC Thunder need Rondo badly. Trade Westbrook for Rondo.

They will be alright, I think, but you pay for coming back from behind in a series.

OKC is just playing terrible. If it was for massive ref favouritism, they would be losing these games by blowouts.

Westbrook and Durant playing hot potato for the last 5 minutes of the 4th. The other 3 members of OKC are basically spectators.

Terrible defense, terrible offensive execution, Durant playing like a bitch, Westbrook chucking, absolutely no free/easy baskets.

I hope they pull their shit together for game 4.

I think they can. Memphis D was great for the past two games, but Durant and Westbrook missed some shots that they normally make. So, we'll see.

This. He is in over his head. Keeps his job because every year OKC gets better, but that is only because KD/Westbrook are getting better. Hopefully OKC comes back, but it will not be because of Brooks (though he'll get the credit)

The two games that the Grizzlies won were both super close, and the Thunder played really poorly in both, but were still in it. Not to take anything away from Memphis, but if Durant's shots were falling last night the thunder would have won.

The grizzlies are a great team though.

Durants shots would be falling if he wasn't continually getting fouled.

They have had 2 hands on him every time they are guarding him. Griz are taking advantage of the fact they aren't calling it because its the playoffs, its smart but its hardly fair.

It will change up and OKC will win the series, but it just goes to show how much the officials influence the game and extend the series' unnecessarily

If OKC wins this series, it is blatantly obvious that the refs have extended the series.

I don't think the calls have been too bad in this series (or lack of calls) But, last night Durant had quite a few open shots that rattled in and out.

I don't understand why we didn't see any Steven Adams Last night either.

I hate to say it but KD's shots wont be off for long...it'll be back and it's going to be a game changer but good job Griz so far..

But...If the Heat makes it out of the East I want OKC to face them but whoever... west is going to be tough for anybody in the east.

scott brooks doesn't have a playbook beyond Durant and westbrook ISO and can't make in-game lineup adjustments, is what the hell is happening.

i root for OKC but a part of me hopes they blow this series just so brooks gets canned and durant can get a real coach for a change.

You saw what the FO did when push came to shove over money with the Harden ordeal, you think they're going to fire Brooks and pay two coaches? Fat chance. OKC are just going to be a treadmill regular season hero, finals zero until they make some big changes to the coaching and roster.

I agree with everything here, except for "bad supporting cast." They have enough superstars and a supporting cast, but the incompetence of the coach is just overwhelming it.

Imaging what Coach Pop would do with OKC's lineup.

It's not necessarily that it's a bad supporting cast, but it's a badly BUILT supporting cast. Thabo and Perkins have ZERO offensive skill. They barely have to be defended out there, so Durant and Westbrook carry a ridiculous load offensively. They need to get two way players to replace those guys. Fisher is old as ****, they aren't playing their useful young supporting guys too.. which goes back to the back "coaching".

Of all the top tier teams main playmakers, Westbrook is probably the worst passer.

There are so many passes he can't make under pressure.

And then you have to give Memphis some credit, they're a really good team with Gasol in the lineup and they finally have a reliable 3pt shooter in Miller.
But Tony Allen, man that guy is an all-star defender.

Their bench has been ****ing awful. With the exception of game 1 that has been the difference in this series. Beno Udrih... Beno ****ing Udrih has single-handedly outscored OKC bench these last couple of games. He looks like Goran Dragic out there.

Nothing is happening to OKC. OKC has the best 2 players on the court. Memphis have the next 5. The teams are close in terms of their ability overall. It's a tough series.
