So many fluke shots against Spurs in the Playoffs these last 10 years it's incredible.

Why does it happen to the good guys in this league?

Why not against Heat, Lakers or some of the other cuntish teams?

Should have been 7. Fisher 0.4, Manu foul in Game 7 in 06' and Game 6 last year.

7 rings. 1999, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2013.

It help to get to the playoffs every season, in order to get "unlucky"

Would rather get "unlucky" in the finals than be a perpetual bottom dwelling team.

As a fan, you just have to accept the amazing losses with all the amazing wins.

Yeah.......like nothing went the Spurs way

Dirk getting hurt in 03. Kobe, CWebb, Billups were injured too

0.4 Derek Fisher GW
Ray Allen's 3 in the finals
Vince Carters recent GW

They've been unlucky but they're definitely not the unluckiest. Besides, they got 4 championships in less than 10 years.

Don't be greedy Spurs fans. I wish the Knicks would have so many chances at being unlucky in the playoffs :(

So Fisher, Allen and Carter hitting threes are "flukes"? Of course. They all suck. Always did. Couldn't hit a three to save their lives.

OP, have you seen the Raptors' gamewinner mix? With dozens of game winners hit on them?

Heavincent

What are you talking about? They have nobody to blame but themselves for last year. All they had to do was make their FT's and the game would have been over. Period.

Oh yeah, and lets not forget about Stoudemire getting suspended in 07.

Has Vince Carter ever hit a game winner in the Playoffs before?

Ray Allen didnt even score in the Game 7 last year.

Derek Fisher is a scrub and you know it.

well in 2003 spurs were lucky horry shot 2 for 50 in the playoffs, kobe tore his shoulder and knee ( that caused his surgery in Colorado )

in 2004 duncan hit a sideways BS shot from a foot inside the three point line over shaq that took away kobes legitimate game winner the play before. and fisher just evened the BS out with his shot.

in 2005 robert horry gave the spurs about 10 years worth of big shots in just game 5 of the finals.

in 2013 duncan blew a point blank wide open layup to lose that series in game 7. the big shot by allen could have been redeemed

dunno about the others....

how about facing a piece of sh*t knicks team in the finals of a lockout year 50 game season for their first BS title..

spurs got just as much luck as they got bad luck.. STFU

Oh I agree. A player shooting 40% from three for his career in the playoffs shouldn't be expected to hit a three. Not at all. I mean he has only made the 38th most threes in NBA history. What a loser, right? Can't blame you though, don't think you've been alive when Kobe/Shaq were threepeating. About the Kobe/Pau teams I'm not quite sure. Were you at least born back then?

And calling a Ray Allen three a fluke? Is this real life?

There's no guarantee the Spurs win in any of those years given their nasty habit of dropping playoff series with HCA.

Spurs won the rights to Robinson and Duncan, tbh.

Moreover, the Spurs lost just Game 3. There's time to rectify.

Hey, we've gotta take the good with the bad.

The only legit thing I've ever had a beef with is Fisher's shot. There's no way a guy can catch, turn and release the ball in 0.4 seconds. But that was ten years ago, I'm over it.

Yes Manu had that stupid foul. But that doesn't outweigh all the good he's done for us -- especially considering the expectations I had of him when he was drafted (barely any).

Game 6 we choked, but choking happens.

d-fish shot was in the wcf, even if he would have missed, that wouldn't have guaranteed spurs a chip and there is nothing fluke about ray allen

This shot will be quickly forgotten after the spurs win this series.

Spurs have played like shit and would still be up 2-1 if it wasn't for a fluke shot. They will pull things together, play better, even if it takes 7 games.

Maybe they would have more chips if their two biggest stars (Duncan, Ginobili) weren't two of the biggest play-off chokers? :facepalm
