KD's one of my favorite players in the league. Why is he struggling so much? 3 points for this year's MVP? :facepalm

He was on a slump the last week of the season or so. He's played over 3000 minutes this year. No player clocking in that many minutes has won the chip in over a decade. Brooks was a jackass for running him into the ground.

He'll be fine though if anyone else on OKC steps up like they have tonight.

It's actually very hard to watch his lack of offense game. He's been the top scorer in the league for the last 5 years. He took like 2 shots in the 2nd quarter. :durantunimpressed:

He'll get it going of course...especially if the Thunder win this game.

He's going to likely be a monster in game 5.

However, this is why we need the playoffs. Nobody saw this coming so far...nobody.

Although I'm sure some will say they did...doubt it continues though. My guess is that he comes out for a big 2nd half.

Yes, averaging 33/9/5. I guess that is about KD's floor at this point :lol :lol :lol

Pretty great when Durant's 33/9/5 is the equivalent and considered as bad as LeBron's 18/7/7

Durant

If you watched the last weeks before the playoffs, you saw this coming.

You thought Durant, down 2-1 in a series, would come out and go 1-7 with 5 turnovers and look scared in the first half of pretty much a do or die playoff game?

Okay...

And let me guess...when he comes out and his a monster 2nd half you'll say you saw that coming as well...right?

This is exactly why judging players so heavily on the regular season and just talent is so flawed. Part of being a great player is actually doing something...not just having the ability to do something.

Would KD be better without Westbrook at this point?

Put KD in the East, and he puts up 60+ every game.

I meant inefficient shooting. Obviously I dont expect him to go 2-14 with ten turnovers for a game.

Wait a second? You do realize how little sense this makes right?

Oh okay...that was what I was talking about.

His first 3 games were expected...sure. The Grizzlies are really good...Durant's play hasn't been great, but it also hasn't been poor...at least in the first 3 games.

Tonight he's been awful so far...that was what I was talking about. The first half is not something anyone that watched him all year would expect. Even for just a half...the season is on the line.

That was my point.

Durant is cursed.

He crossed Lil B, and not on the court.

LeBron moderately stacked team since 2010 = 2 rings in 3 years with a possible 3rd in 4 years

Durant uber stacked team since 2009 = 0 rings and multiple chokes

Looking like the biggest choke job since Lebron in 2011. Don't believe it.

It's obvious:

During regular season: he doesn't try to make the best play every time he has the ball...he try's to do what he needs to do to manufacture a stat line. In the playoffs you can't play that way and he is struggling because of that.

He's getting abused defensively by a guy 6 inches shorter than him, he should be able to get Allen in the high and low post and simply shoot over him, but naw let me take Allen off the dribble. He's also missing make-able shots as well so who knows maybe BasedGod ****ed his bitch. But seriously never seen KD miss so many shots he makes on a consistent basis, some have just rolled in and out of the rim.
