Where do you think Melo would rather play? He could play with 2 other all stars in houston, or he can play for a great defensive coach in Thibs. If rose wasnt injured so often im pretty sure Melo would 100% choose the bulls

On paper, he fits the best there. But I could see Thibs running him into the ground. But if Rose ends up contributing, it may end up the best place to be. Still have a feeling he stays in NYC though.

Why should Melo go to the rockets so Dwigth can B'tch to him how he's not getting enough touches? him and Harden would be brick city. As for the Bulls, why would he go there? He doesn't make them a contender especially with a washed up derrick rose. His best option is the Lakers. Kobe could possibly turn that scrub into a champion we've seen what Kobe has done for his teammates before.

Nope, they are without a doubt the 2 biggest ball hogs in the entire league (sans Kobe). Would not work with the egos of him, harden and dwight. Plus, who would play defense?

I still think that he stays with the Knicks. I just don't see him working out that well with the Rockets, where he would have to wait until James Harden gets bored of dribbling for 15 seconds, then passing the ball to Dwight Howard for 5 more seconds of undecided basketball effort, then they throw the ball to Melo, if Chandler does not whine about not getting his touches. I just don't see it.

With the Bulls, that is an even worse situation. Now if Melo does not play defense, will he be in the coaches dog house, which leads to an unhappy Melo. Or if Melo can't control the ball for 14-18 seconds, will that throw off the Bulls offense and will others be willing to let Melo and Rose get 20-30 shots apiece while the rest of the team get scraps? I just think that Melo is in an ideal situation with the Knicks. He is the primary option. The lead dog.

Like others have said I don't see the obsession with Melo to Houston for the same reasons.

Now I read somewhere else on this board of the thought of Carmelo going to the Wizards to play near his true hometown of Baltimore. Would be interesting, but IDK Washington's cap situation.

This, the Bulls are tailormade for Melo, Harden and Melo cannot co-exist, Harden is too much of a ballhog to have a player like Melo on the squad, the current role players can't even get enough shots as it is.

Pass the pipe. After what I've seen from both teams, he'd go to neither. Houston's probably gonna sack their coach after Blazers take care of business-too many clowns on the Rockets. Bulls have no point guard...why would Melo go there? Bulls have peaked; I don't see them getting any better next year and the Wiz are demolishing them. Y'all are funny - going on about Melo going here or there. Like it or not, I believe he's staying on in NYC to try and become the savior. Considering the attention the Knicks get - positive or negative - if he wins even ONE championship in the Garden, he'll be a hero for decades.
