I thought jettisoning both Lowry and Dragic was very strange at the time, and it obviously has not paid very big dividends to this point still. Houston was a first round team when they had those guys, and they're still a first round team. But at least those guys played hard.

Trading Lowry to Toronto gave them a 1st rounder to send to OKC in the Harden trade. He also had some chemistry issues or something while in HOU (he's at least owned up to this).

As far as Dragic, they let him walk in FA to sign Lin, right? Yeah, in hindsight, not the best move lol. Harden would have turned him into a spot up shooter only though, which he's good at, but his play-making skills are so good.

What I'm wondering is, would Dragic really get to play his game in Houston (and more importantly, blossom into an AS) alongside Harden and Parsons? I could see it happening, and Houston would be better with him, but for Goran's sake I like what he's doing in Phoenix playoffs or not. Lowry would be great too.
