First playoffs series, in his second season

Game 1: 31/9/5 on 9-19 shooting
Game 2: 18/8/11 on 3-14 shooting
Game 3: 30/6/6 on 9-16 shooting
Game 4: 23/1/8 on 6-13 shooting

Averaging 25.5/6/7.5 and only 2 turnovers on 44/48/85 shooting

He's only had one bad shooting night, and still managed to contribute in rebounds and assists that game. :applause: That's my Bay Area PG :pimp:

Guy has quietly had a really nice playoff debut series. Quiet because of Aldridge's first 2 games and the intense finishes every game has had kind of overshadowed it all. I thought he was the great in game 3 even though they lost. He gave them a chance for awhile, just didn't finish well for once.

Nah, numbers might not suggest the same but Beverly's been great defending Lillard. I've seen him deny Lillard the ball multiple times and force him to pass out at the top of the key. There's only so much you can do to stop an All-Star shooting lights out from beyond the arc though.

I think if Lillard had the Westbrook mentality it would work better. Lillard can be cocky as hell but he has one thing Westbrook doesn't, that's patience.

Beverly has done an admirable job, but Lillard doesn't mind waiting for that opening. Be it to make a play or score himself. Beverly's hyper active and aggressive defense just doesn't really seem to phase him even when it does work for a few possessions.

he cant guard him tight enough cuz he will blow past him thats the problem.
doesnt help that he repeatedly lost him on inbound plays:facepalm

Yeah, that's definitely true. Westbrook tends to pull up for a shot when he's closed out by the defense, while Lillard will try finding an open man more often.

Yup, Beverly's giving it his all, but again, there's only so much a man can do when facing an All-Star.

Or like, Dragic :confusedshrug:

You seem like a good dude who really cares about his team Smook, hope the Rockets get things figured out next year, even though I really do hate them. :oldlol:

Godzillard!

Such poise man. His first play off series too :lol

I love watching his interviews after and before games. He is honest with his answers but very confident. He also gave a lot of credit to the rook who hit the 3 pointer to beat the Blazers in the third game. Such class :pimp:
