It's the worst collapse of a superstar ever in the finals...and it happened just 3 years ago.

And since then outside of the Thunder in 12...the Heat have played teams significantly worse than them. Well...beating the 12 Celtics outside of Bosh was impressive actually.

But it needs to brought up to bring back some context to this shit. The Mavericks/Grizzlies would easily be making the ECF and would be able to give the Heat a real series...

Instead, they are most likely shrugged off as round 1 fodder.

And the sick thing is...the Heat don't have to play teams as good as that until the finals.

Imagine if the Heat just switched place with the Grizzlies or Mavs or Blazers or Rockets...etc. All those teams would win the East and make the finals.

I think it's a valuable lesson for Lebron if he wants to win a large amount of rings. Because he will most likely encounter teams/stars similar to that run of the Mavs again, and he needs to showcase that he wants it more.
