[QUOTE]Ferguson took over as host of the 12:30 a.m. late-night talker, which follows David Letterman

I will support him if that happens, but I'm really gonna miss that crazy Scottish bastard.

CBS likely pushed him out. Wanted to get a companion show that made sense with Colbert.

Lol, he was forced out and it's gonna be Handler.

Ferguson has been there working his ass off with shoelace budget for years compare to his competitors that he clearly can't beat directly (Conan, Fallon). And when a new Late Night show rookie that Ferguson can beat easily (Meyers) came in, he subsequently got booted. :(

Poor Ferguson. I hope he will find a new place soon after his contract ends.

This is probably accurate.

Handler is getting a show on Netflix apparently. I've seen people posting that Neil Patrick Harris is who they want.

It sucks he's leaving as he, along with Josh Roberts Thompson (he's Geoff) have excellent chemistry together. It's weird he's moving on to host Celebrity Name Game too, maybe Drew Carey clued him in on what an easy gig they are to do.

Quick update on the whole situation:

Craig was not forced out. He did not want Dave's job. When he reached his 8th year, he wanted out at that time, but CBS gave him a sizable raise to stick around a bit longer. He told him he'll do it for 2 more years and then he's done, which will happen at the end of his current contract.

Lol, if you believe that. What was he gonna say?

"I have shit ratings and CBS wanted me out"
