Most of the stuff you see here is just negative and that's pretty lame. Hope this can turn into a thread where people can check in, ask for help, or drop a line, quote or video and motivate all of us to get up and keep going or even better ourselves.

Hopefully people take this thread seriously and some of the younger (but not always) posters can talk about an issue and someone who has been through it or knows something about it can help. Every now and again someone posts about being depressed, people respond well but then the thread dies off.

This is a chance to keep it going and posters can continue to check in and post.

Maybe we'll start by all posting something we're proud of achieving in the last few months and then post something we'd like to achieve or accomplish in the near or distant future.

For me in the last couple of months:
- I've studied harder than before and consistently started assignments earlier than I used to

- Continued to be consistent in my healthy eating and exercising, which makes occasional nights out that much more fun

- Saved enough to travel to the USA & Europe for 9 weeks later this year

In the near future:
- Make a more conscious effort to catch up with friends (4 years out of high school)

- Give a bit more to charity and go visit my 90 year old Great Gran more than once every few months

Feel free to join in!

Lastly, a supposed quote from the Dalai Lama

In the last couple months I :

bought a used Xbox 360 for $80

Jerked it an average of once per day (missed some days, but made up for it on others)

Stared at some tits without getting caught

Life is well.

I've almost completed my first year at university. Final exam is on the 23rd of May then I'm done till September 15

I've saved enough to go to France and the USA

I've got good grades so far

I know I'll need this thread in a few years when I'm in my final year. My course leader said the final year is worth 70% of my degree classification

Have an exam this Saturday that I haven't studied for as much as I should have. I need all the support and inspiration from my ISH bro's as possible

My mind and body are ready.

I'd say it will get better, but the Rockets are stuck with Harden for some time.
