Lets take a poll and see which owners will back Adam Silver, and those who might not.
List your team and if you believe the owner will vote to remove Don.

Lakers: Yes

I don't exactly keep Wyc, Steve and Bob on the hotline or anything...

But if I had to guess, yeah.

Are you on a first name basis with him or what?

I will assume that most owners would.

Would you prefer I honor him by calling him Mr. Sterling?

Just put together a quick spreadsheet:

Silver needs 22/29 votes to remove Sterling as an owner.

Nice! Thanks for the list.

I'm proud to say Mickey Arison was the first owner to condemn the statements.

It will be unanimous due to no owner wanting to be associated with a racist

Cuban already said no so he's out

Also Clay Bennett is a likely no

Alot of these hidden racists will hide their ignorance by saying that there's no precedent for making someone sell his team. Cuban already said it would be a slippery slope

He will easily get a majority, otherwise he would not have announced that today at the press conference. All owners realize that having him in the league devalues their team and they will get on board accordingly. It's an easy choice. The dude is a creep and they like money.

All will. Because if not it will effect the relationship they have with their player and city.

My niqqa Prok knows what needs to be done in business. He's cutthroat and isn't going to second guess voting him out to get more money.

Already changing his tune. All owners will vote him out, no one is going to want to be that owner that didnt vote him out. And everyone especially the players/sponsors looking at them funny.

Depends if the votes are open ballot or secret ballot...

Id say a smart owner would not vote against Donald. Sterling is a terrible owner, but you'd rather have a retarded owner running your opponent team than a wise owner. As a Nets fan I hope James Dolan run the Knicks for the next 100 years, Lakers fans should also be glad if Sterling never quit on the Clippers, its the same story.

this. in case the voting is public, there is no way someone votes in favor of sterling, he is done

A Secret ballot wont be secret and they know that, they would get smoked out. The ones that voted him out will want it to be known that they were not one of the guys that voted him to stay. There for revealing the ones that did by a process of elimination.

Yeah, Cuban put himself out there.

I wouldn't say he's changing his tune.. Lifetime ban vs taking the team away is two different things... Owners can, will and are as we speak supporting the sanctions but getting them to remove him is a different topic...

It will be unanimous as no team/owner wants to be the one supporting a racist as it will alienate the teams players and fans. Not good for business and bottom line. Sterling will be gone im 100% positive.

Yes, Dolan publicly said he would. They released a statement.

BTW, every owner will vote yes. Having it come out you voted for him to stay will be taken ever badly.
