Of course the game I'm anticipating the most is U4. Hearing rumors it will take place in the 1600's and will have a different protagonist, which I hope is not the case. The game just won't feel the same without Nate as the main character. It would be an awful idea, I think there is A LOT left unexplained from Drake's past after U3 ended.

I kinda skipped on NBA 2K & Madden this past year so I'm really hoping they'll be great for PS4 this year. Definitely getting The Show; not a big baseball fan but it just looks phenomenal.

I wish Nintendo would announce a Metroid game for 3DS. A small part of me getting one was assuming that a Metroid title would be released at some point.

So thrilled bro. Was doing back flips when I heard about it.
I don't even care about dropping the full $70 for the game. A must have for me for the PS4.

Really loving the new controller and I do believe the difference in graphics are extremely noticeable where it's worth spending the extra 450 on a new console. FIFA is SO much better on PS4 than PS3 its pretty incredible.

Excited for the next two months with TLoU: Remastered, Watch Dogs and to see gameplay footage of Uncharted.

All the DLC? etc. Even though I'm still upset about how the series ended, I'd buy it day one. I'd like to at least see where they're heading with ME4 as well.

For cod fans there will be a trailer on sunday, and an article with info. There is a video out there showing cod/vice collaboration on something private military contractors related. Hoping that is the focus of the game, looks interesting enough.

I was hoping for a 3ds and wii u metroid (either the same on both like smash or concurrent launches of two different metroid games). Their rumoured to be showing new hard ware but I really don't see them making major changes to the 3ds or wii u right now so my moneys still on their health and fitness device being some sort of wearable tech like those fit bit things that links up with nintendo systems.

Yay kevin spacey. Actually the trailer looks really good. The exo suit brings an interesting dynamic, but hopefully they don't try to go all titanfall with cod, because it just won't work.

Personally I'm most interested in the co op mode. I know it won't be zombies, as unfortunate as that may be, but hopefully it is better than extinction.

Nintendo confirmed no new hardware today. I wasn't expecting that and thought it was a silly rumor at best. Also proud of them for once commenting on rumors. :lol Even if it is just to make sure the MK8 Wii U bundle sells.

Ubisoft confirmed we're getting some new The Crew stuff as well. Definitely interested in what Ubisoft is gonna do at their show. Got the new AC(s?), The Crew, potentially The Division, and I'd assume some other new shit.

they are still there i think they just don't do a stage show. They will introduce their new stuff through the directs but every single video game blog covers everything they do.

Yeah they're there, but it's just demos of upcoming games. Last year it was Kart, 3D World, WWHD, and I think DK MIGHT have gotten one.

I don't think the connects are horrible, I even kinda like them, but I just don't think they should pass up the opportunity to display what they've got to the world. i think its because nintendo goes their own route and they want to separate from their competition rather then directly try to compete with them.

Agreed 100%. It was a very safe conference, but at least they showed games, games, and games. A lot of the games that looked great like the Division and AC5, I'm going to get on the PS4 though. Most of the games I already knew about so there wasn't really anything substantially new to show.

At this point in time, if you're not a Halo fan, there's absolutely no reason to buy a Xbox One over a PS4.

And E3 is supposed to be about huge reveals and exciting and new info. Hopefully Sony and Nintendo go crazy.

HALO Anniversary collection is pretty good fanservice. I think HALO multiplayer is still a system-selling feature and putting this out there is much better than putting a shitty, rushed version of HALO 5 on the shelves. At least the real MS fanboys get what they want with this.


But yeah, dissappointing overall. For a company that boasted about having "1 billion reserved for exclusives" last year this sure seems like a meager lineup. Getting rid of Kinect is the most exciting thing for MS this year.

Honestly, I thought they did the best they could possibly do with what they wanted to do. They wanted to drop the big news about ditching Kinect, removing the Netflix paywall, and announce the games with gold for xbone a couple weeks ago. So that way they could focus on the games.

I like what they did. They potentially made people who were gonna buy a PS4 reevaluate it since the console just got cheaper and lost a gimmick that a lot of gamers didn't want. They decided to focus more on their exclusives (for better or worse). I wouldn't be surprised if M$ started doing a Nintendo Direct type thing soon. Phil Spencer is highly intelligent, and knows he's got a lot of work to do to win some gamers back.

Side note: Not remastering Halo 3/4 for the Xbone is such a future cash grab it makes me sick. I really really hate 343 with what they're doing to the Halo franchise. They're completely killing it. Let's just slap the same shit up there and fix some of the bugs. :facepalm.

I watched a short trailer for Playstation TV last night, and still don't really understand what the hell it is.

That Tom Clancy game looked really cool, which surprised me, because I'm not really a big fan of the Tom Clancy games. Too much tactical shooting and not enough plot and exploration for my taste. But the open world feeling in a post apocalyptic New York looked awesome. And the lighter science fiction elements, so it's not just riddled with monsters, so it seems to be focused on the human element, looked awesome. It felt like a parallell story to The Last of Us, but you were one of the heavily armed guard units.

Limbo was cool. I'd buy Limbo 2 no problem. It's nice that it looks good.

Uncharted 4 trailer looked great, although not really any gameplay, so who knows. But the themes seem really dark which seems like a good direction for them.

I'll have to check out that Batman trailer later.

I can't keep up at work during the day, so I'm sort of reliant on the GameInformer youtube channell and the like to keep me up to date after the fact.

That's interesting. I wouldn't mind a console for my bedroom. It would make for late night gaming sessions being more comfortable. I thought you could buy a second console and buy connecting to your PSN account you'd get all your data from the cloud. Although I guess this thing is only a hundred bucks, so that's a more viable option. And I guess if you were using your PS for internet access, to stream Netflix, YouTube, or *ahem* other ... internet material, being able to access it remotely from your living room to your bedroom would be a nice feature.

I'm not really interested in the VITA. But I would check out some of the older streaming titles if the price was right.


Truthfully I get access to all that stuff that through the smart features on my TV. And if this allowed me to move that info around from room to room, and at 100 bucks, rather than a couple grand it would take to buy a second smart TV, that would certainly be a viable option.

Ps3/360 didn't at first. They were cuttimg edge tech, especially ps3 with blu ray, and blue tooth. 4 years later, yes they were vastly inferior, 8 years later, dino tech. Now with PS4 there are some things that are cutting edge. The ram; hUMA architecture, and gpgpu compute are all things that are the future, or at least could be. That said it is weak, the gpu is 3 year old tech at best...

Xbox One is 5 year old tech, and has no hUMA, or gpgpu computing ability. It will hold back ps4 games too. Hopefully it dies off so everyone gets better games. And as a plus MS would likely get out of ttying to ruin the industry.

I don't really do multiplayer, but The Division looked Funckin' A Awesome in everything I saw.

It looks like a near perfect blend of high action tactical shooting firefights (which frankly are not really my thing), duck and cover third person action (which I do enjoy), adventure gaming (exploration, map search type stuff).

And it's got a pseudo sci-fi story line. And the map looks like a great representation of NYC!!

Just couldn't look any cooler. Hopefully there's quality single player mechanics. Or the campaign mode is heavy on the co-op multiplayer, which I'm probably more inclined to get into.

Nintendo brought it best they could. Zelda looked wicked awesome, Mario Maker has a ton of potential. Yoshi epic yarn, Kirby, Xenoblade, Bayonetta, Star Fox, Captain Toad, Splatter.

Not the knockout blow some people where hoping for, but they showed a lot of good to great games. Too bad most of them are so far away. In terms of exclusive games they've blown Sony and MS out of the water.

i think splatoon actually looks pretty cool. Kind of a new take on a genre that's getting pretty stale.

Nothing but HD upgrades/remakes and games everyone knew about. As happy as I am that an old gem like Grim Fandango is coming back, meh to it all. I guess there's Nintendo but the Wii U is a dead console, IMO. It's not making a comeback.

Ps3/360 didn't at first. They were cuttimg edge tech, especially ps3 with blu ray, and blue tooth. 4 years later, yes they were vastly inferior, 8 years later, dino tech. Now with PS4 there are some things that are cutting edge. The ram; hUMA architecture, and gpgpu compute are all things that are the future, or at least could be. That said it is weak, the gpu is 3 year old tech at best...

Xbox One is 5 year old tech, and has no hUMA, or gpgpu computing ability. It will hold back ps4 games too. Hopefully it dies off so everyone gets better games. And as a plus MS would likely get out of ttying to ruin the industry.

I thought all the e3s were pretty good this year. Scaleboud, Bloodbourne and the dragon age footage were my favourites. Was surprised grim fandango is being re done, that had me excited.

I'm still not really sold on the zelda art style, it looks really nice but I need to see more gameplay.

Yeah they will make a good game. Part of my hesitance may also be that I don't think that art style is the right move to sell wii u's to people who don't already own one or weren't already nintendo fans planing to buy one. Honestly I think it has a chance to mirror the sale pattern of the 3DS from this point on. Took the 3DS a price cut to get going, which didn't help the Wii U a lot. But then each major game that came out increased the install base massively. (like what's happened with the Wii U so far) I think starting with Smash, that trend should continue. Star Fox, Yarn Yoshi, Zelda all next year. Party 10 makes it and Mario vs. Donkey Kong U scheduled as well. That'll help, especially since Ubisoft hasn't entirely abandoned the console yet.

Hyrule Warriors is the next "big" game and that's in September. After that Bayonetta 2 in october, Smash sometime in the fall/winter. Captain Toad in there

Spring 2015 is Mario Maker, Yarn Yoshi and then the summer releases. That'll either be the console's chance to make or break probably.

I feel almost exactly the same way, about both AC and especially The Division.

The AC Series has really grown to be one of my favorite series ever. And even as people have grown tired of the convoluted story arc and it's inconsistencies, I seem to have grown fonder of it, because I don't really care about that stuff even a little bit, and find the maps have been laid out better, the side missions more well thought out, the free running made more natural feeling, and even pirating.

Maybe when we get it we should try co-op together, because we probably would be similarly useless and playing at our own pace.

Everything from The Division looks awesome, but I haven't seen anything that makes me think I can even play it by myself.

Nah. They've guaranteed it'll come out next year. They've had it slated for that since I think the console launched.:lol Usually if it's a Nintendo studio game (and not Nintendo owned/partnered) they're right on the dot for release. Pikmin 3 was the first game I can remember in a long long time actually getting delayed.

I have to worry about buying a next gen console first, but yeah I would be down to try out co-op with you. I have the feeling our "co-op" gameplay would end up with us just splitting off to explore the map and periodically meeting up but that actually sounds like it could be a really cool use of the co-op feature.

AC looks dope. I missed out on the recent games with the ships. I need to get back into AC.

I'm not a battlefield gamer so BF4 was my first experience after COD Ghosts bombed. It wasn't bad but BF Hardline is intriguing because they went away from the usual military game. Cops n crooks idea is dope.

So excited to see Uncharted, but nothing really was shown.
I'm really intrigued by Witched 3, even as a non-RPG fan. I think I will buy it. Also Project Beast looks intense, I'm definitely buying that. Other than that not much else looks that interesting. I'm getting UFC on Tuesday, pre-order it. Than going to buy TLoU and probably GTA 5 for PS4 and just the usual NBA/Madden/FIFA collection. Definitely not getting AC, never really liked it. I might get The Order; but as good as The Division looks, it's an online game so I won't be getting it. Rainbow Six gameplay looked sick tho, I freaking loved it.
