Or voluntarily pitchforked by a local farmer :oldlol:
But seriously, I do feel kind of bad for OKC fans, that coach is holding that team back. Durant is only a part of the collective problem here.

A lot falls on cheap ownership also. No matter what people think of Harden, they dealt him way too soon. They traded a dollar for a handful of pennies with that nasty green shit on them

That's fine if you think that. Point is they didn't get the right value for him.

I personally would of looked to trade Westbrook and kept harden and ibaka. I don't think him and Durant pair up well at all.
Again, that coach is soooo bad. To think he got an allstar coach selection, what's this world coming to?

^^^^ westbrook is terrible for that team, he needs to find a better fit for his dominant style and let durant do his thing

People actually believed OKC was making it to the Finals this year?

I think it's hard to put a Westbrook on any kind of team, unless you made him a shooting guard? You don't want your point guard looking to score before setting up his teammates and dominating the ball too much.
I honestly believe its harder to build a championship team around a ball dominant PG in general and I should know that being a Bulls fan. :confusedshrug:
Westbrook and Rose have a similar style and can look absolutely devastating over a game or 2, but an entire series? That's hard to sustain with their kind of play.
Durant would benefit from a low post scorer and banger, a guy who can get some easy close to the bucket baskets to alleviate all the shooting KD does. Much like how Kobe worked off Shaq, but of course some slight differences in style.

its extremely difficult for a perimeter player to be dominant, it requires mad skills, high iq and endurance, its no mystery majority of dominant players in history have found their ways within the paint. houston being a perfect example of how a glorified perimeter role player can destroy a team when given the starring role

It also takes a hell of a lot of tenacity and killer instinct which MJ and Kobe had, which is why they are top 10 players all time.
The guys getting exposed like you said, are guys who don't quite have that. Sure, they are great perimeter players given the right situation, but in the crunch and when they really need it? They can often go missing or severely choke.

absolutely. hardens case is pathetic, no 1-trick pony 3pt shooter with zero defense should be considered more than a 3rd option (championship team). westbrook has the clutch gene unlike harden and the will to succeed but his iq is average to low, dudes so stubborn :facepalm and his jumper ain't reliable at all, hes like rondo going up :facepalm

NTM the shots Westbrook takes can be out of game rhythm and causes mass turnovers and momentum swings...
Harden has been super passive and has struggled for the most part in the playoffs. That game 3 was hilarious, he was clearly shook and scared.
Like Rondo going up :lol

I wish that was true, but I think he intermittently disappears through either temp bans or has a life. Hard to believe I know :D
