Joe Crawford may have fvcked up his momentum which can be attributed to the reason why he missed his 2nd ft attempt. That interruption killed KD's momentum and puts more pressure on him. Joe should have waited for KD to finish both free throws before interrupting the game. :facepalm

No excuses, prime MJ would've cold blooded make both free throws with / without interruptions.

Are you arguing with yourself? It's Crawford's fault but no excuses?

He's saying no excuses for either person in the situation, Crawford or Durant.

Crawford's acts were inexcusable. He ran up and stole the ball from KD while he was about to shoot it and then threw a tantrum yelling at someone on the sidelines all because he was too stupid to remember that the number of bonus fouls in the OT period is 4 instead of 5.

To pull that shit on the most important FT of the game when you are the lead official is a disgrace.

Where's the part that I typed it was Crawford's fault? I said it may have, meaning it's not total the reason on why KD missed the 2nd ft attempt, that's why no excuses.

If you can't hit a free throw as a professional basketball player, it's your fault. No one else.

KD is a superstar. No excuse to miss a FT because a ref messed up his routine on a second FT.

Crawford HAD to stop Durant from shooting that free throw. The scoreboard had that the Thunder had a foul to give when they really didn't. If Crawford doesn't do anything and Durant misses that free throw(which he did) and Memphis gets the rebound, the Thunder might foul thinking that they had one left to give. They might have ended up inadvertently putting Memphis at the free throw line because of a scoreboard error, which would've been a MAJOR irreversible mistake.

Who knows whether Durant would have made that FT. It's a pretty weird thing to complain about IMO.. could have just as easily been a timeout called by the other team.

It's still a wide open 15 footer. And Durant normally hits contested 15 footers like they are a layup.

It could be used as an excuse but you won't see OKC bitch about that. Anyway, they should have given Crawford his retirement papers long ago.

No he didn't. The scoreboard showed 4 fouls which is in the bonus in OT.

But Joey Crawfords stupid ass wanted to correct it to 5 which accomplished nothing.

No excuses but the real reason they lost was the time left at the end of the game. When the ball was knocked out of bounds they showed clearly in the instant replay that the ball hit the floor with 3.1 left.

When they added the time back they only put up 2.9 which wasn't a big deal. Had OKC had that extra .2 it would've left Ibaka's hand in time thus OKC wins. That's scary

Look at the game again if you don't believe that 3.1 was supposed to go up

It was a freethrow. He was chucking up multiple airballs and splitting freethrows all game. Would've happened regardless.

I miss the days when the best player in the NBA wasn't a choker and was very good looking:(
