No, not to replace Thibs but simply to be their offensive coach. Don't forget -- Bulls top player is a PG (Rose) and MDA's system revolves around a PG. Thibs is the defensive coach/head coach and Pringles is the offensive coach/assistant coach. It's win-win.

Fukk, I should be a GM. http://i.imgur.com/XqHj183.gif (superblog.co/)

I am still confused how D'antoni managed to trick everyone to think he is some kind of offensive genius.

Every PG he coaches either becomes All Star caliber, All Star, or MVP.

Don't need him anymore with a combo of MDA+DRose

Not to mention all the scrubs become decent-moderate role players.

Every PG he coaches either becomes All Star caliber, All Star, or MVP. Coach K liked him a lot, that's why he was an assistant on the Olympic team...

70% of the league are using some variation of his offense, he was the leader of guard oriented play we see today... He's not a bad coach, he's got more guys paid then any other coach...lol

he's just not a great coach and I'm not judging him by his time in LA, nobody was going to win with the injuries they Lakers have suffered the last two seasons...

I said this in the Bulls forum. The Bulls could absolutely use someone like him as an assistant coach.

Can you have co-head coaches? Would be awesome to have MDA on O and Thibs on D, best of both worlds

Both coaches have a history of running the legs off their teams players, that has to be good right?

We will have players on vacation by the Allstar break :facepalm

And no, D'Antoni will not fix our offensive woes, better offensive players with dynamic offensive skills will.

Probably not, but Melo won't make them a championship team anyway, especially without an offensive minded coach.

:oldlol: the whole league is shaking in their boots at D rose's return

Thibs and MDA don't mix. You can't play Thibs game AND play MDAs game. It's not possible You would need ****ing superhumans to play Thibs D and MDA O. . The only way to do that is if you had an ironman lineup of Westbrook/Beal/Jimmy Butler/Chandler Parsons/Nic Batum and even then they'd be too tired.

the bulls problem on offense is not the system, its the talent level. they simply do not have any scorers. they depended on DJ augustine for gods sake.

I would agree with this. That said, Melo with this coaching staff is still not going to get things done.

This isn't the NFL N.igga. Pringles is Waaaack.

Thibs is a beast and for Taj to be thier best offensive player, I'd say they were well coached.

However, I pray to the good Lord that some how, someway, Thibs ends up coaching the lakers next year.
