Memphis played like garbage, and all his teammates played well. Of course Durant had a nice game while under ZERO pressure! :oldlol:
Still waiting for Durant to carry his team to an important playoff win with his supporting cast playing like crap, but something tells me I shouldn't hold my breath. If the Thunder win game 7 it will be because of Westbrook and Jackson, not Durant.

Memphis missed every shot they took even free throws

They had a comfortable lead most of the way and played pressure free not having to hit shots down stretch either down or close.

Oh no, Thunder players showed up and a team played well instead of having a situation where one guy has to single-handedly bail them out. What a terrible situation. This just ruins my player rankings now that Durant couldn't just take all the glory for himself. He might not ever make the top 50 now.

I think Durant played pretty well but not great. I'm starting to wonder where Durant three point shot went.

The Grizz missed 6 of their first 7 free throws! :facepalm It was obvious very early on that they were not going to be able to threaten OKC. Lebron's game 6 against Boston 2 years ago, that was pressure! He had to carry the Heat the whole night. Bron didn't have Wade going off for 25 points that night, or his sixth man scoring 16. :confusedshrug:

Durant played alright today but he did statpad a decent amount when the game was already decided.

Mentality of the branstan. It's killing them inside that everyone calls Jesus bran's savior

Stop trying to compare Durant to Lebron. He never will be on his level.

I think its fair and alot more reasonable to put Durant in the group likes of Kobe, Lillard, Aldridge, Love, Harden, Howard, Griffin, etc. He is elite, but he's not cream of the crop like Lebron.

We are putting the bar to high for Kevin, and he can't clear 2 metres on this high jump pit.

I feel like his 3 pt game and FT percentage has dropped a lot this year compared to previous years. But his assist went up a bunch, not sure if that's worth anything.

You are right, I simply expected too much of Durant. Expecting him to not have to be bailed out by Reggie Jackson was simply unfair. :(

KD dominated early and Memphis never came back. He dominated in the most crucial moments, which happened to be the first Q for this particular game. Had Memphis played a little better, Durant would have went for 60.

He was absolutely dominant AND unselfish tonight. True winner. He didn't choke like Lebron in game 6 2011 and game 6 2013 of NBA finals. Just a much better competitor and leader

This thread is everything that is wrong with this message board and its player focused mentality. How many people here are actually team fans and not just player groupies? Not that many it seems like. Love the game, not the players, fools.

If Durant is still going to be constantly compared to Lebron get used to it. As a Lebron fan I did a long time ago.

Really? KD was great tonight...so was WB.

Memphis really came out weak and they took advantage and it was never really a game.

All he has to do is kill it in game 7 and I'll reverse my usertext again. 30 pts and the W and I'll change it
