As expected, Scott Brooks said the starting lineup will include Caron Butler going forward.
Caron Butler started tonight and Thabo Sefolosha played 0 minutes.
Thoughts on this?

Sefolosha is pretty useless if the opposing 2 guard isn't a scorer.
You might need Sef to guard Tony Parker or another PG later though

Good move, they should also give Steven Adams more minutes too. He played well tonight.

You gotta adjust to your opponent. If the opposing team has a better scorer at 2-guard (like Klay Thompson or even Redick) then playing Sefolosha more might help.

I mean Thabo is the lock down defender... Memphis is an offensively struggled team. They'll need Thabo against teams w/ their main scorer at SF/SG.... Gasol/Randolph are the main scorers so Thabo is kind of useless against the Grizz since he can't score anyway.

Looks like u didnt watch OKC games this season. This isnt 2010-2012 Thabo isnt a lockdown defender anymore
Thabo and Pork are both negatives why the fck isnt Adams playing more? And Lamb should get all of Thabos minutes

Wouldn't call current Thabo a lockdown defender but the thought of Butler chasing around Reddick or Klay around the 3pt line does scare me.

My thoughts are: about ****ing time! Sefolosha is trash. Not needed in this series.

I swear Brooks browses ISH for advice in elimination games. We been saying PLAY ADAMS/BENCH THABO/**** PORKINS for a while. Just sad these obvious adjustments come to him so late.

:biggums: Perkins is actually having a solid series. He's done a pretty good job against Z-Bo.

Gotta agree. There's times when he's been burnt, but overall I think he's been decent.

Agreed but overall Perkins is always given too many minutes by Brooks so it may be a problem moving forward in the playoffs if OKC beats the Grizzlies.

Perkins always steps up in postseason been even better this year. He might be pretty useless except when we play scoring centers in RS because of low intensity but when it matters he is the only solid paint presence we have against the West's big frontcourts.

That's where Brooks is a ****ing clown, I bet you he doesn't adjust in series where he won't be needed.. he'll probably just start him as always until OKC look like they'll lose the series then FINALLY do something.
