If KD elects to become a free agent and elects to team up with Lebron, you might be looking at the greatest duo ever, and possibly, another 70 win season. Both would be in their primes and their skills sets totally compliment each other alaa Pippen and Jordan. I know this much, the passing lanes would be non existent in the same way that Mike and Scottie roamed the perimiiter in 96

I would take 2001 Shaq/Kobe over them. But they'd probably be the 2nd best in terms of sheer talent.

............KD and Bron are both average at stealing the ball.......MJ and Pippen were elite........

Secondly, this will never happen. Neither would give the other the keys to the car. They want to beat each other. Not play with each other.

Add that to the fact that in 2016, LeBron will want 20+ mil and so will KD on his new contract...It is highly unlikely.

I'm absolutely positive Bran doesn't mind teaming up with other teams' superstars, even if it involves taking a huge paycut.

Lebron will be a pile of shit by 2016. He's better off with westbrook.

Another bitter OKC fan. Go play in some hay. Not our fault your boy gets shutdown by a player almost 7 inches shorter :oldlol:

Nah Bron would be the stopper/versatile player.

I thought of this. Doubt it'd ever happen, but I think they would play really well together. IF Bron could get over KD getting a lot of hype, too. Not sure who would ultimately get more, but if Bron wanted to score low 20s and dish out 12 assists (Most of them to Durant), I think he could.

Damn. If they worked to play off each other I could legit see Bron with >10ast and Durant with >5ast

Imagine how FCUKED you are on the Bron/KD pick n Roll (or rather Pick n Pop)

That's a match made in heaven. Durant's efficiency would go through the roof, and LeBron would average a double double every game. You can't double them both. There's no stopping that.

2001 Kobe: 29/6/5/2/1 on 46% shooting

2001 Shaq: 29/13/4/3/1 on 57% shooting

Yeah, they have zero argument at all, right?

I would have to concede haters would have a point if Lebron and Durant team up. They have faced each other in the playoffs. They are rivals.

But Lebron and Wade are not rivals anymore than if Melo joined the Bulls. Would anyone scream because Melo and Rose/Noah faced each other in a couple of regular season games?

Durant would never team up with LeBron.

And Kobe and Shaq would still be better since LeBron will be 31-32 years old by then and on a steady decline. Plus Pippen and Jordan better as well.

I wouldn't start a team with Shaq and Kobe, they would self combust and hate each other within 5 years... and that's with a Phil-like coach.

For one playoff series? Absolutely, they would be the surest thing. But not for a long period of time.

And to answer OP, 1982 Magic/Kareem is also better than KD/LeBron.

Only way KD ever wins a ring is if he is on Lebron's team :oldlol:

Not to mention more balance. Instead of two forwards, you have a C and a G/F.

GOAT Duo indeed!

Kobe is a little scrub compared to Shaq, Lebron and Durant so yes they have no argument.

Lebron and Durant would be unstoppable. They wouldn't need ref rigging and a GOAT head coach to win titles.
