I choose to remember this as a series-ending buzzer beater: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBQv4BFbSN8
Unfortunately, they ended up adding a few tenths of a second back on the clock (Hornets still won).
Everyone acted like it was an end-of-gamer though, so that's how I like to remember it.

^If he misses this they lose the series.
...then 4 years later he does the same thing to the same team. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjtRjhvQo6I

ESPN says the last 2 game winning series shots were both against Houston, Lillard just now, and Stockton in 1997

If Lillard misses, there is still a game 7.

Jordan has a couple.
Stockton, as others have mentioned.
It's actually extremely rare.

Just as Jordan's did, which he was criticizing.
Stockton in '97
Jordan in '89
Sampson in '86
That double clutch 3 that rimmed out against Indy in '98, was that game 6? That would've ended the series too.
