at least he left orlando for the stronger conference, this kind of effort in the east gets you to the ECF at worst, he gets a fought first round exit but no asterisks :applause:

On that note, how's the near decade of no playoffs going?

Not bad, how's the "mecca" of basketball and second highest salary resulting in no playoffs?

Poor Dwight.

I want to make a meme out of this but it would be too much work.

Tries stacking the deck, first round exit :oldlol:

this just further prove how making the final in the east = 1 round exit in the west :applause:

I mean, yeah, Houston makes the ECF pretty easily in the east. West is just so close I don't even have a favorite. That series was so close too.

its a fair equivalent, i would even say this year there's a strong case for 1st round in the west being equivalent to making the NBA Finals in the east

Honestly Jabbar, you just gave me some perspective with that comment and now I respekt Dwight even more. Not many players have the balls (see: LeBron) to play in a tough conference like the West and instead are content with piling up their asterisk rings and asterisk FMVPs while colluding with other players to keep their teams as stacked as possible. Props to Dwight for refusing to take the easy route.

At least this 1st round loss is not on him. Although Houston were favorite before series started, but who could knew LMA and Lillard (only sophomore!) would step up so much, while Harden crashed and burned.

He did his thing tonight and played big in the fourth-quarter. I can't hate on his performance although, I think it's funny and told people he and his team would be a first round exit.

He was 5-6 from the FT line prior to the 4th quarter, finished with 6-11, missing 4 of his last 5 FTs, Portland won by 1.

Didn't he score 12 straight points? His impact on the floor was apparent. I think he's a *** but he played well

It's not that he refused to take the easy route, he's just too oblivious for his own good.

I mean for christ's sake you're nearly twice the size of any other center in the league, and you leave one of greatest organizations(not to mention front office) to play with an unproven Harden, the bearded boy wonder.

Those two deserve each other.

Dwight played his butt off. Stepped up in crunch time and put his team in the position to win. Can't ask for more than that.

Lillard just torched them with a sick shot. props to both players and both teams for an awesome series.
