The best young PGs in basketball who all got their 1st AS games who will be the best of the 3?
2 are threats to score/shoot any place in the halfcourt
only 1 of them plays defense
etc etc

all 3 are better than CP3 right now.

Steph if his ankles hold up. Nikka scored 54 points and I was like this the whole time: :biggums:

Really depends. All three of them have differing strengths/weaknesses. I'd take Wall, he's the best passer and defender out of those three.

Hard to say honestly. I think Cp3 is still the best PG. Steph Curry will probably be the best because I think he's a better play maker.

I give Lillard the edge over wall because Wall will never be able to shoot like Lillard.

Curry if he stays healthy without a doubt.

Of these 3 players, not all could say they have the ceiling of becoming better than Ray Allen.

Wall or curry. I like my chances with Wall.

The correct answer is Steph Curry.

Lillard and Wall are two of my favorite (non-Warrior) players though. I think Wall actually had the highest ceiling of the three, but at this point I don't think Wall will ever develop a reliable jumper. You never know though... J. Kidd improved his jumper later in his career, but he was past his prime by then.

Wall shot 35% from 3. Thats pretty decent.

For me 33-40% is decent to great. >40% is amazing.

Wall, he can now shoot a 3 in acceptable averages and much better defender and passer than lillard.

Wall can play on both ends of the floor.

That's the vital difference between him and The other 2.

Lillard's defense is underrated. In fact in this series I'd say it was above average.

If Wall develops a jumper as others say I will take him first with Lillard second and Curry third. I feel Curry relies too much on his jumpers and takes bad shots at times though they go in sometimes. With that said the three are all pretty close when you put together there strengths and weaknesses, you can't go wrong with either point guard.

Wall has already developed a jumper. He has made 108 threes in 2013/2014 as opposed to 49 in earlier three seasons combined.

True but to me it's still not as consistent as the other two. I'll give him credit though, he definitely has improved his shot compared to previous years. Right now I'll take Wall over the other two, he is actually one of my favorite players and his defense is better than the other two.

This is a really hard question, if wall had either of their stroke i would choose him easy. That being said, it's got to be Lillard for me.

I don't agree, I think he played slightly below average to average defense, I think people give him to much crap on defense.

Not saying they're exactly similar, but for me it's like a Nash Kidd Billups mold but all with lesser playmaking abilities.

I'm taking Curry. He be the biggest name of the three breaking records

I doubt Wall and Damian could do what Curry did in that Nuggets series.

Curry was even the leader in assist per game in the post season last year.

I'd like Wall to beef up really.

I think he'd have his most success to model his game a bit after Billups.

John Wall CANT shoot. Dont care about his defense or playmaking ability. Hes a stud clearly, one of the top 10 most raw talented players in the L. But with a game on the line, he can't win it for you, and thats why i got Steph and Lillard over Wall and it nots even close. I watched him clank jumper after jumper against the Bulls and it was painful. I also dont trust him at the FT line, especially in the crunch. Hes improved his jumper but it will always be somewhat broke. Watching defenses dare him to shoot is painful because he can get to the hole at will but half the time still takes the bait to shoot...and miss.

Wall wouldn't of even made the all star team if not for Rose/Rondo injuries fwiw.

And that's why we have Beal. Obviously Wall has regressed on his jump shot in the postseason, but we're still winning games. :confusedshrug:

And when did this turn into a conversation about the Wiz or Beal? It's about comparing the 3 PG's in the title, and again, Wall is nowhere near those guys when it comes to taking over a game in the final couple of minutes and being top shot takers and shot makers in the league.

Bradley Beal? Love him, great young emerging star.

Stick to the convo next time :hammerhead:

You said Wall isn't the guy to take the final shot, which is why we have Beal, and you also said Wall can't shoot which was the case 2 years ago. He is an average jump shooter, but can't shoot is reserved for the likes of Ricky Rubio. :facepalm

He's an average jump shooter at this point, and shot 80% from the line. He's steadily become a better shooter. It's a huge difference in form since his rookie season. I don't think the best reason to argue against Wall is that he won't be the best option to shoot a 3 with <5 seconds left.

Curry and Lillard are great scorers. John Wall is a great Ball player. It all depends on the team around them. The wizards have made a point to surround wall with spot up shooters and finishers, because that's what will work with his playstyle.
