I know this is just going to incite more trolling, but I legitimately miss this guy. Beautiful game. Hate him as much as you want, his game was so much more fun to watch than most if not all of the young guys today.

Truthfully that's a running hook not a skyhook, a skyhook is a pivot shot... I'm honestly impressed by his form though, that's like a shot you never see anymore so to just bust one out and still execute it with ACTUAL form and not some spontaneous jack up is impressive. You can tell Kobe is a student of the game and studied and practiced a wide variety of moves from the past, even if they aren't his bread and butter he still knows proper form. :applause:

Agree, imo Kobe's presence was definitely a miss this season. Kind of gave us a preview of what the league will be like after he's gone. Really when you look at it, this playoffs may be a last stand for several guys from his era too(Garnett, Vince, Dirk, Duncan, Pierce). I can definitely feel a changing of the guard, highlighted by Lillard's epic shot last night.

Agreed. It's a sad day when the league's last remaining Alpha isn't able to play anymore. Meanwhile, you have beta pvssies like Durant admitting Tony Allen is living rent free in his head, and nicknaming himself "The Servant", while even more beta v*ginas like 'Bran collude with the best talent in the entire conference just to beat an Al Jefferson-less Bobcats team :facepalm

Seriously, these new star players rely too much on athleticism, they have zero IQ and moves. Their game is FT and 3.
You look at a guy like Westbrook, superathletic but dumb as f.uck. His game is make a layup by blowing by his oponent or jacking up a 3. He has absolutely no moves. Once he loses a bit of his quickness he will struggle a lot.
I say the last perimeter players that entered in the league and developed great moves are Wade, Melo and CP3.

Wilt's fadeaway, dat early 60's shot still tough to guard even when a shorter, less athletic white guy uses it :applause:

Lebron has the drive to the left double pump in the air layup. Almost always a And 1.
