Come on man, it's the first round, what the hell is with all of the massive celebration and showboating at the end of the game? :facepalm

Uhhh, the Clippers have had to deal with A LOT in this first round, no?

You're asking why fanatics why they are going overboard ?

Some do it, some don't. It is what it is, unless it does go too overboard.

That too. Fortunately, the Clippers came out tonight, all of them. Both teams did, really. 13 players scored in double digits tonight for the Warriors and Clippers. Best game 7, so far.

Westbrook was worst. He acted like they had just won 10 championships.

Generally, all of OKC acted like they had won a ring tonight.

Be nice to the Clippers, getting out of the first round is gonna be the highlight of their year

No class. Ray Allen after the big shot just walked off. It's what separates an alpha that can control his emotions from a beta that can't.

And now we discover that chris paul was trying to instigate stuff after the game...

Against a depleted Grizz team no less

They can show all the emotion they want. Still makes teams like pacers and OKC look foolish for bbeing taken to 7 games aby low seeds in the first round.

The Clippers are ok, they dealt with a TON this series and beat a very good team. The Pacers, well, they're kind of a joke, what do you expect. Beat a 38 win 8 seed and it's like you won it all :confusedshrug:

Do Blazers get a pass because of how the series ended?

Hey look, it's a stupid thread.

Winning any series is a big deal.

They pretty much did though. They're both locks to win it all.

This isn't the east where you get a limo ride to the conference finals. Every series win is a big deal against talented teams.

Both teams played in a game 7. Do you realize how much is at stake? It's win or go home.

You ever played a pick up game at the park when there are like 2 or 3 teams already waiting to play next? You get hype after that win cause you get to keep on playing.

Ha. Pacers had matchup nightmares vs Atlanta. George admitted it, saying they cannot take advantage of their big man. Still pulled it out. Some analyst were even picking Atlanta to win this series as it progressed.

OKC played against one of the best 7ths seed ever in Memphis. The same team that took out the Clippers AND Thunder last year. Once again, a matchup nightmare for OKC and they still took them out.

Marc Gasol missed 1/4 of the games this season. The same Marc Gasol that won them DPOY. Estimating Memphis wins 1/2 the games he missed if he were in the lineup, they have a better record than OKC.

Come on man.

Inexperience is the answer. To some teams, getting out of the first round is the highlight of that franchises history.

Doc and the Clips know they wont be able to do that next round

I think celebrating is most certainly acceptable. They should be happy. It's a good moment.

I still have fond memories of 2004, when I recall analysts predicting the outcome of the NBA Finals between the Pistons and Lakers, with at least one expert pointing to how the Pistons celebrated winning their Eastern Conference Championship while the Lakers did not, suggesting the Lakers' "poise" showed by not celebrating would be what easily moved them past Detroit, whose happiness at the conclusion of the ECF suggested they did not really care about winning in the Finals.

Don't be so confident. OKC finally playing a team that can score more then 80 points a game.
