I don't think there are more than a handful of people you could even argue had worse rookie campaigns and still won the award.

Shot .480 TS% for the season. OWS was -.8. Avg 3.5 TOs/gm. Led his team to a 19 win season.

Who won the award with a worse season?

Chris Bosh.

I wont say worse but hes not that bad man, they were tanking
He a 6'6 gaurd that put up 6 rebounds n 6 assist that most gaurds cant do. He has a nice drive game and he plays defense real well. Give him the green light next year hel be palying some good ball

Mike Miller won it averaging 12/4/1.7 with 1.2 TOs per game. His advanced numbers murder MCW tho.

The whole class was garbage. Some guys have a bit of potential though.

MCW
Oladipo
Dieng
Adams
Burke

We'll see next year for McCollum.

I don't really expect much from this class though. Who knows maybe they will be late bloomers.

Didn't he lead Phi to the longest losing streak in history or something?

Kid just isn't that good, he'll be a nice player on a garbage team or a role player on a contender.

Forgot about him, worth mentioning as well. Good call.

Tyreke Evans seemed underwhelming to me.

Reke fell off hard but his rookie season was one of the best rookie seasons. 20-5-5 Rookie Club only as him, LeBron, Big O and Jordan in it.

No, he needs to learn how to take good shots. The last thing he needs I the green light. His jumper is garbage. I like him but he's got a long way to go.

Hard to blame Miller for that. Picking ROY from that 2000 draft class was like picking the least stinkiest turd in a huge pile. Out of the Top 15 only Kenyon Martin, Miller and Jamal Crawford ended up being halfway decent players, the rest was nothing spectacular at all.

How about MCW, Magic and Big O 16-6-6 Rookie club?
