haha one of the best series in the 1st round. Very suprised Rockets didnt make it out 1st round with Howard + Harden.

In the early years of the Blazers, our play by play announcer, Bill Schonely, started saying it when a long shot swished through the net (AKA ripped through the net). It caught on as a general nickname for Portland when talking about Portland in the context of the Blazers.
