Would love to know how a guy who lost in the first round could be the MVP for that series.

Jerry West won a series MVP while losing
Kobe would have won FMVP if his team lost
While it is ridiculous to compare TA to those players, weren't a lot of people mentioning him as MVP of the playoffs just recently. Just cus his team lost a close and tough 7 game battle doesn't mean he wasn't MVP of that series. Also KD and Westbrook didn't have their typical series

I'd change Stevenson for Teague and Allen for Westbrook

T-Mac was the clear cut best player in his first round losses.

Y'all are overrating the hell out of a guy who wasn't even the best player on his team for the series let alone MVP of both teams.

How could you watch that series and come away thinking Conley was more important than Tony Allen?

I didn't watch much of the spurs-mavs outside of highlights but my pick would be ginobli

TMac wasn't the best player on first round losses team????
Sorry but who was then???
Are you forgetting his Magic teams
Think you could say he was a series MVP vs. Det or in a few of his series vs. Utah

I get what you mean by TMac being the best player on both teams in his first round losses, I just have a hard time personally giving the MVP of a series to a guy on the losing team. I can understand why someone would though.

If the Celtics won game 7 which obviously i'm sensitive about and feel like they should have than I don't see how they give it to anyone else but Kobe.
Rondo and Big Baby were probably the best or in their case most consistent Celtics in that series.

fair enough but it seems like a few of us could vote for a loser if the series was very tight like the Pacers and Thunder series.

no joke
Tony Allah aint no joke
weren't people claiming he was MVP of the playoffs just a week ago. Obviously a tough 7 game series doesn't change my value of his series.
