View Full Version : A year later and we've honestly seen little to no improvement in KD's game

Playoffs-wise anyway. Still a bad passer, no post game, high turnover player. He's no Lebron.

He is a completely different player to LeBron, he plays at the perimeter and around the rim, maybe one day he will start working on his post game, but for him, he is clearly a scorer, hands down, and the best scorer in the league at that.

What "improvements" are you expecting to see? I realize that trolling requires no real point but understand you're talking about a 25 year-old with 4 scoring titles and an MVP award that's been to the Finals.

LeBron could die today and still be ahead of Wilt on all time list :oldlol:

LeBron is elite around the rim yes, perimeter wise he isn't the best in the game, what makes LeBron elite is his ability to run an offense and driving to the lane, his perimeter and ISO game aren't his best skills.

Are the Thunder out of the playoffs?

Who have the Heat played?

Da fuq??? They lost one game, the series isn't over. Durant won so many games with Westbrook out, were you watching the NBA when he was doing all that?

True

He is also clearly a worse scorer than LeBron. Durant's scoring does not translate well into pressure situations at all which is where the great scorers earn their honors

50 years from now Lebron will be like Oscar. Out of the top 10 and largely forgotten. Wilt's greatness will still be subject to debate.

He did improve somewhat. Last year he was still a poor man's Melo but this year Id give him an edge over Melo. Hes no Lebron, the expectation should not be that high to begin with.

LeBald at the same age was a turnover machine with no postgame. A much more reliable choker also. :confusedshrug:

History's on my side. Wilt and Russell have stayed in the top 5, while guys like Oscar and West have fallen out. We're talking 40+ years and only two players (MJ and Kareem) have come along who are generally placed higher.

playoffs wise you're absolutely right. he's still that one dimensional player he was in the 2012 finals. scores a lot of points, but can't contribute to the team any other way. and let's not even talk about his non-existent defense.

To be fair, KD has been this way the entire playoffs so far.
