Warriors looking at Kerr, SVG, Thibs, and Hoidberg

Cant imagine Thibs with this team, the Warriors with this many shooters but you want a defensive coach like him? Also I dont understand why Kerr is so highly demanded. The Knicks want him, the Lakers want him, and now the Warriors. Did Kerr actually coach a team before?

Just fired a top 4 coach in the West and now looking for a replacement in a guy that's never coached, Steve Kerr. SVG who got ran out of town by Dwight. Thibs... couldn't win it with a great Bulls team, with a healthy Rose. Not even going to get started on Hoidberg...

Few things...

The Warriors proved to be mediocre without Iggy.
Jackson is not a top 4 coach in the West.
SVG was run out of town by a clown. He was an above average coach for the Magic.
Jackson acted like a douchebag to assistant coaches. He tried firing people he didn't have the authority to. He burned a lot of bridges along his path.

Hoiberg is a good coach. His style at ISU (uptempo, smallball, perimeter shooting) fits well with the Warriors roster. Obviously he has past NBA experience as well.

I think Kerr has a great analytical mind for the game from what I've seen of him on TNT and whatnot.

Don't forget he also spent multiple seasons with Phil AND Pop-- i d never overlook that.




But I feel he's lacking in the charisma department needed to handle young egotistical hotshots.

I hope im wrong about that since i like him, but we'll see.

Please, not Thibs. He'll make Curry look like Sessions. The man is a defensive genius but know jacksh*t when it comes to offense.

MDA is the perfect coach for the Warriors. Curry will average 35-40 a game.

regarding kerr as a coach. yes, no one can accurately predict if he'll be great, good, bad, or terrible, but he has been vocal about what he likes on a basketball team and what he expects

If the knicks do end up hiring Kerr( I hope they do), watch how that organisation turns from the laughing stock of the league and major underachiever, into a professional, successful outfit within a couple of years.

I'm not joking, Kerr and Phil at the helm will lift the Knicks into a powerhouse that they should be.

As for the warriors? I think they need a coach with better X's and O's and will hold players more accountable(prevent the silly turnovers). So someone like SVG would be ideal IMO.
