Seems like most people can't stand than guy and don't want to see him succeed. Why is this.?

Great player, glad Spurs drafted, tutored, and kept him. But he seems like a douche from everything I've heard.

I respect how good he is but also feel he gets overrated by some due to the success of the spurs.

no pun intended

Love him.

He is most definitely a top PG. No doubt. Just his whole demeanor is annoying. Not Quite as much as Westbrook. But still really annoying.

I have no problem with him. In fact, I would even love to meet the players I don't like that much,

Overrated? Tony Parker is one of the most underrated players in the game today and doesn't get the credit he deserves because no one cares for the Spurs.

I respect his game. For sure he's making the hall of fame. As a person, he's an asshole. Don't really care for him. Don't hate him, but wouldn't even give a sh*t if I saw him on the streets.

Definitely not underrated. We were told all last year how he was the best player on their team.

I think because he plays for the Spurs, a team that's quite frankly uncool to root for because of their cold efficiency.

Rooting for Tony Parker is like rooting for an efficient computer.

Love Parker's game, so much fun to watch him dissect the other team's defense. When his jumper is falling he is nearly unstoppable. One of the best finishers at the rim. As far as his personality he seems highly confident, almost cocky but hey he certainly has a reason to be.

I don't like him at all despite not having a reason for it.

Love him. To me, when it's all said and done, he'll be remembered as a top 4 PG of the last 15 years along with Nash Kidd and Paul.

None of the hyped challengers at the guard position, whether they had fancy handles or awe-inspiring athleticism, have managed to unseat him. He's kept producing and winning, year after year, while they rose and fell.

He's also the best example of what a great scoring guard can be. It's not about how many points you score, it's about how reliable/unstoppable you are when told "go get me that bucket".

He seems way too cocky, and you can tell he'd be something of a loose cannon without Duncan and Pop, but TP's cool.

I don't buy the premise that nobody likes him. I see no evidence that no one here (or anywhere else) wants him to succeed so your question is nonsense.

Tony parker is like the Jeremy Lin of France. I am talking iconic to his people (though I am not Lin on the same level skill wise).

French people only cheer for him because he's french. Had he been american he wouldn't get those endorsement deals he gets like quick hamburger, Renault (on reprend!), etc...I guess he's no worse than Michael Jordan selling his retro shoes to poor Black american who live vicariously through his success.

That's what's annoying about him. He plays in the league extremely well but he brings in patriotic French people who have no genuine interest in basketball overall. But rather just to gloat to americans how one of their own players is dominating "ze ricains"

He's got amazing footwork for a guard especially his step through. His spin move is amazing, really good finisher around the rim.

i love his play. doesn't shoot threes, mid range game, great decision maker, great at knifing through the paint... what more can you ask for?

He's that annoying little midget who runs circles around you and bugs the shit out of you and your team at the park.

I think it's funny how he's toying with Portland :lol

Hon hon hon!

But serious though, dude can ball. It's too bad 80% of his French fans think he can do no wrong.

One of the clutchest players in the history of the game. Dude feels NO pressure no matter what the situation is.

Even in, I think it was Game 6 in the Mavs series...Parker had like 3-4 layups in crazy traffic in a row, with the game on the line. Just ridiculous shots that came out of nowhere in a forest of trees.

I wonder how much Tim Duncan enjoys being in Texas surrounded by these international stars and players

that probably have habbits and hobbies that makes him go

:biggums:

Pop probably just think of them as a bunch of weirdos who play basketball
