from the rest of the world.

I've only heard bits and pieces of this listening to NPR radio, so no articles, but apparently they're redoing their internet with their own servers and cutting out the servers based in the US(Putin said the CIA originally started the internet). They're forcing all bloggers that write with at least 2000~ words to register as press, who will be held accountable for what they say but with no press privileges. They are planning to incorporate this by August. Their statement even said internet anonymnity gives people a forum to spread lies(funny).

This morning i hear they're changing their whole e-payment systems around to be independent of foreign exchanges.

Again these are only bits and pieces of what i heard, its surprising i haven't seen a major article on this on CNN.

They really do plan on fighting the world community and its sanctions over Ukraine, and seem to be setting themselves up from being held accountable thru sanction by world governing bodies.

Sucks real bad if you're living in Russia, you're soon to be cut off from the rest of the world and under a lot more government whims.

if 'cutting out the servers based in the US' means that you can't reach them out of Russia they can close tons of businesses. no way. not even China wants that.
