top 20.
Possibly changing history as well.
Kobe might get traded. Shaq does not win another ring and remains in LA.

Well, Deke was definitely their MVP in the ECF:

[quote="ThaRegul8r"]I get tired of seeing people acting like Iverson was all alone dragging scrubs with him. Dikembe Mutombo was not some scrub. The Sixers don't get to the Finals without him, and no amount of revisionist history will change that fact.

In Game 1, Mutombo had 15 points, 18 rebounds

That'd be a legendary dragon slaying if he took that team down in the finals. I think it boost him to top 20.

Iverson went full Haren that series. :eek:Good lord. Don't ever compare AI to Haren. What pisses me off about Haren is that he is actually pretty talented and gives zero effort on defense, offball-- basically whenever the balls not in his hands. Even then if you lock him down he gives up goes back to being lazy and randomly chucks something at the rim. Iverson even when he was bad gave 100%, played through numerous injuries and did unbelievable things despite his size. AI had heart only a handful of players in NBA history could match.

Stop trying to show that Mutombo was a very good player. We all know Iverson carried total scrubs.

Mutombo was great.

Carrying a nonexistent offense against one of the most stacked teams of all time

If he had beaten the Lakers that year he wouldn't had been blackballed by the league. I say hes Top 10, around where Kobe is now.

If they woulda won the title, it would have meant that Aaron Mckie caught fire and turned into Scottie Pippen or Mutombo some how slowed down Shaq in an incredible feat.

So he'd be like somewhere where is now (top 50), but 5 spots little above (like top 45).

He didn't and the only reason he was one even in the Finals was because of Devin Stern and his refs...the Bucks belonged in the 2001 finals. Screw Iverson.

Who the hell was going to win FMVP over Iverson, Tyrone Hill? George Lynch? Eric Snow? :oldlol: :oldlol: :oldlol:

If this was his only title, it probably doesn't bump him up much, but he wouldn've been a legend regardless because this Laker team was ridiculous. Shaq in his prime, Kobe just entering his, and the Lakers hadn't lost a single playoff game prior to the Finals. AI right now is probably 25-30. He might get to 20 with that title and Finals MVP, but no higher. Guys like Barkley and Malone are 15-20. A title and Finals MVP in 2001 still doesn't put Iverson above Barkley and Malone.

So I'm guessing you are saying the Sixers would have not have beaten the Spurs or even put up a legitimate fight that year?
