Russel Westbrook Quickness + Better than Kobe Body Control + Big Hands Like Dr. J + Hops like Dominique + Touch around the rim like Tony Parker + Competitive Nature Like None Have Ever Seen....Just remember that when you talk about that man.

Bird had none of those things whatsoever and was nearly as damn good as Jordan

Slow as fcuk, a broken back prohibiting body control, not particularly insanely large hands... therefore he's more impressive than jordan

he wasnt nearly as good as Jordan. You put them on the same floor with equal teams and Jordan is winning the majority of the time. And we dont give points for not having certain traits.

btw...i was just describing his physical talents and Im a bird fan although I do believe he is a tiny bit overrated(I'd take Duncan).

I don't see why this can't be the case.
I find it funny how only big men's natural gifts are considered "unfair" advantages, but for a smaller guy, it's completely OK, even admirable, to be faster, quicker, jump higher, have bigger hands, etc, than the competition.

:biggums: You're acting like comparing Bird to Jordan is like comparing Kendall Marshall to Magic...Bird was absolutely nearly as good as Jordan. He wasn't as good, obviously, but to act like Jordan was far and away the better player, like he's two levels above..that's pushing it.

You don't know anything *******. Stop talking. Bird was definitely nearly as good as Jordan.

Ok. time to argue the definition of "nearly." This is silly.

MJ was better at getting to the rim than Tony Parker. Parker leads the league points in the paint every year.

Yea, MJ was better at it. But Parker has just as good a touch around the rim, arguably slightly better. Can't think of anyone with a better touch down there than him, it a real talent.

1. You're delusional if you think he was as quick as Westbrook
2. Kobe has better body control, Phil said in his last book Kobe is more flexible

My favourite Jordan play.

But anybody who is actually sitting here and arguing like they can split hairs as to who is better at contorting their body and what not is stupid.
Smaller guys are 95% of the time always going to be more maneuverable and malleable, so it's pointless arguing.

Those vids you posted were whack as hell too. Bean got like 3 inches off the ground in most of them.

The vids I posted crap all over the ones you did from a body control perspective, try again. A ton of examples here too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvWy9liwC7U

That first gif I posted is something Kobe could never dream of doing in a million years with his little kitten paws, stumpy T-Rex hands. Plus he doesn't have the leaping ability or hang time. And that vid you posted makes me wish you had posted some Vince Carter dunks. Then I would've been entertained :applause:

bigger and stronger are basically the same thing and that's his only advantage over Jordan physically.

MJ was doing shit like that at an old age.

Only 2 were impressive, but nothing MJ couldn't do.

Shit... MJ could pull some of that shit posted as a Wiz.

Kobe simply wasn't strong or could jump high enough to pull some of what MJ. Yes he was agile (almost as agile as MJ), simply didn't have the same physical/athletic attributes.

The only thing Kobe ever did that MJ couldn't do the same was the weird spin of AI of that crazy alley opp. Kobe was flexxible but MJ had overall better body control.

Irving.
Irving is good but he quite Parker. He doesn't have the versatility of attack that Parker does nor is he as proficient. Parker literally does everything you can do around the rim. Guy even posts up much better guys.

That's one of my fav Kobe plays.

Mj was never put in that position that I know of to pull that off.

Mj has however saved a bad pass at half court from going out of bounds/avoiding a defender while on the way down and put it behind his back in one motion.

How's that for flexibility and body control.:pimp:

Mj could pull off that spin, just never had too. He's done spins with better body control while making passes.
