They got the Sprus number the 4-2 playoff win in 2012 and 4-0 sweep this year is to hard to ignore.

Look as a spurs fan.. Playing against OKC will be very tough.. And sure they have had our number last couple of seasons
But playoffs is a different monster.. Which I think suits spurs... I at least give them a chance against OKC
OKC had a better roster in 2012 and the series was closer than what most people think.. All the games we tight.. That and the spurs are better than in 2012 too.. Spurs will have a chance to beat OKC... Whether they do or not we will see.. But it's not going to be an easy series for anyone
Spurs OKC will be a good series.. OKC is playing well but Pops has the Spurs locked in at the right time..

No they won't. The 2014 Spurs are MUCH better defensively than the 2012 version and the Thunder no longer have Harden, who torched SA in that WCF.
Spurs in 6.

No they don't. But they do have Reggie Jackson and he has torched them in every game they have played this season.

They was locked in last they met and we all saw what happened. Just saying.
It's at least a 6 gamer, probably 7. OKC has owned the Spurs lately but the Nets swept the regular season math up with the Heat and will probably lose in 5 or 6. Portland and SA split the regular season match ups and the Spurs have totally embarrassed them through 3 games. Hard to say how it will turn out.

Series could honestly go either way, there's no clear favorite in SAS-OKC series, though Spurs have HCA so they have a slight edge, but I'd bank on OKC winning Game 1 or 2.

OKC are still in a dog fight with Clippers so nothing is set yet.. If anybody out west can beat the spurs it's okc.

just becuae okc has refs issue
OKC are a matchup problem for the Spurs because of their ability to go small with Durant at PF. That puts Splitter on the bench (SAS defense takes a hit) and more quicker, athletic players (Westbrooke, Jackson, KD) on the court. Since Parker and Manu must play, the defense takes another hit - nobody to hide them on. Their confidence (even the scrubs') vs SAS is sky-high because of 2012 and the sweep this year. This is even without some of the best jump shooting in KD and Westbrooke, which is what Pop is usually willing to give up (contested 2s).

Spurs are the best coached team in the league and have the best TEAM ball.
But OKC's star power and explosiveness WILL dominate the spurs.
The spurs were 2 years younger last time they met. and the thunder were 2 years less experienced. YES they lost harden but in addition Durant has risen to the best player in the league. they have alot more depth this time and Westbrook is arguably the best point guard in the league.
last time they met spurs were the veterans and OKC were a bunch of young rising stars
now the spurs are still the veterans + 2 years older and OKC are now a bunch of primed superstars. this could very well get close but Spurs aint winning it.

Its not Durant or GOATbrook the spurs have to pay attention to. Its the certified spurs killer Reggie Jackson.

Spurs will try to stop Durant from dominating.Westbrook can go apeshit as much as he wants,OKC can't win Spurs in a 7 game series with him as the leader. All we've seen from okc so far is "iso ball". Pop's team on the other hand...

the spurs function better as a unit, and imo have the better bench and by far, better coaching.

Why is it being assumed OKC will win their current series? The Clippers win today, it's tied 2-2. They present some matchup problems to the Spurs, too. They're similar to OKC is play style with not quiet as many good/great athletes, but they still have good athletes and plenty of good shooters.
Not necessarily saying OKC will ose the series, but the Clippers are still very much in it.

no way clippers wins 3 out of 4...and without home court...this series is over in 5 or 6 max.

that seems like an incredibly one sided perspective. Can't you just as easily say that the Spurs bench has proved, they're better defensively, Kawai is emerging into a star, and Tiago is easily a better player than he was 2 years ago
