Wasn't there a thread made just like this earlier this year in a game Durant ended up hitting the game winner?

Lets see what happens

I'm fine with Russ taking that shot. He was carrying that team in the last 3 mins and he got a good look.

Or why he lobs them almost 5 feet in the air being afraid of a block.

Durant was 4-5 for 10 points in the 4th. He did have three turnovers and missed a FT, but come on. You can't say the guy choked.

If you give up a 16 point lead you choked, those 3 turnovers led to 6 points.

Half the league didn't win MVP.

You can't put all the blame on Durant and simply say "Durant choked". OKC choked.

lets not forget the insane ref help he received again.
he could have decided the game at the line( or hit two go ahead FT) because he made a rip through and it wasnt even in the act of shooting.
in the last two minutes.
worst call ever and most annoying player of all time

So he ended 9 possessions, came out with 10 points, and gave 6 easy points to LAC off the turnovers.

That's not too good.

Not to mention the possessions that he didn't statistically end, but he fukked up because he got the ball and couldn't do sh*t with it and/or could never get the ball in the first place because he was too weak to hold Chris Paul off (just like with Tony Allen two weeks ago).

Shades of Tony Allen: How can MVP Kevin Durant allow 6-foot Chris Paul to guard him down the stretch? Post him! Joke.

Doug Collins: "it's these moments that I've always struggled with, where they don't trust a system, they trust in individuals."

Bill Simmons was confused why OKC was trying to post up KD on CP3.

No way Scott Brooks deserves any criticism for this collapse. Durant and Westbrook pretty much do what they want. Your turn/my turn.

he was rushing his passes out of the doubles too which killed them. he could have saved at least two clipper fast break layups had he used his size to survey the court. and yea no excuses for not at least trying to get on the block.

the wb/durant pick and roll was embarrassing too. they tried it every time down the floor and each time they got nothing but a late shotclock. curious if they could try putting the ball in durant's hands as the better spot up shooter and let russ set a hard screen which he could definitely do..

Don't forget about his shitty defense down the stretch

Blake drew 2 fouls on him

Collison pumpfaked the shit out of him and then embarassed him in transition

Yeah, Durant was setting bad screens and wasn't rolling properly. It was clearly a situation that he wasn't used to.

That prob just wasn't a play he was used to running. No excuse for him not posting up CP3 closer to the hoop tho.

Not saying he played well or anything, just think it's unfair to say "Durant choked" and put all the blame on him.

Eye test matters a lot here. Durant could have easily ended the game and the series by taking CP3 to task in the post but he didnt. Should have been easy to shoot over or pass out of the double at his size but he choked. If lebron is in this situation he gets crucified. Russ kept them in the game and almost hit a game winner but barely missed. Honestly, Durant has no excuse for this one.
