Just gonna drop this here from one of my Harden analyses.

James Harden 2013-14 Regular Season Stats:

25.4 ppg
6.1 apg
4.7 rpg
1.6 spg
0.4 bpg
3.5 TOV
.456 FG%
.366 3PT%
.866 FT%
.618 TS%
23.5 PER
120 ORTG
107 DRTG
.221 WS/48

James Harden 2013-14 Playoff Stats:

26.8 ppg
5.8 apg
4.7 rpg
2.0 spg
0.2 bpg
3.5 TOV
.376 FG%
.296 3PT%
.900 FT%
.519 TS%
18.5 PER
112 ORTG
115 DRTG
.110 WS/48

Regular Season to Playoffs differentials:

1.4 ppg
-0.3 apg
0.0 rpg
0.4 spg
-0.2 bpg
0.0 TOV
-8% FG
-7% 3PT
3.4% FT
-10% TS
-5 PER
-8 ORTG
-8 DRTG
-16 Net O/D
-.111 WS/48

In the Rockets’ 2014 first round, Harden posted:

- the 2nd worst eFG% of his team…yes, worse than Jeremy Lin, Terrence Jones, Patrick Beverley…all of them except Francisco Garcia
- the 3rd worst offensive rating, only marginally better than Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin
- tied for the 5th worst defensive rating
- worse WS/48 than Terrence Jones, and through the first 5 games of the series, his WS/48 was HALF of Dwight’s.
- when Harden was on the court, the Blazers scored 3.5 ppg more, and on nearly 5% eFG better shooting

Just a few of the 28 players that had a higher playoff PER than Harden:

Chris Douglas-Roberts
Kosta Koufos
Tiago Splitter
Shelvin Mack
Brandan Wright
Marreese Speights
Chris Andersen
Dejuan Blair
Andray Blatche

Yeah, that's exactly who the Thunder needed.

What a clutch player :oldlol:

If Harden was still on the Thunder, they would have lost in the first round.

2012 finals durant and westbrook came to play meanwhile harden was a no show. Harden isnt even half as competitive as these guys

I dont think harden places the nba championship very high in his priorities list. This guy is all about the fame and strippers.

Ok...... so, where is Harden right now? Surely if he could win this game for OKC against the Clippers he would still be in the playoffs right?

If Harden played like he did vs the Mavs and Spurs in the 2012 Playoffs, then yes.

If he played like he did in the 2012 finals, 2013 and 2014 first round then hell to the no.

Im so nba'd out

OKC is such a trash franchise. Theyre about to back at the bottom of the table when Durant and Russel depart.

I can't believe that are trying to argue that Lamb > Harden.

Harden might a choker who players no defense (He is 24, I'm just hoping that he can fix these issues within the next 2 years). But let me assure you, he is a better third option than Jeremy Lamb.

If the Rockets had OJ Mayo instead of Harden they'd be in the 2nd round.
