I love the people who say Durant is better than Kobe has ever been. The past prime Kobe that won back-to-back rings would probably be up 3-0 against these Clippers with Durant's team.

What he did say, is that unlike the other "star" pg's in the league, Paul actually guards his direct opponent or the opposing teams top scorer, unlike the other pg's who get to stand in the corner on D and hide behind Klay Thompson, Nic Batum, Kevin Durant etc etc on defense. Paul was chasing Curry around screens for 7 straight games, and STILL produced on offense, while steph only had to play offense.

Paul's man to man defense may not be amazing, but yes his ball denial and the pressure he puts on a team's offense is. You can't make any lazy or predictable passes around him, you can't beat him with ISOs alone. The problem is in the low post the refs give the benefit of the doubt to the smaller player. If durant caught the ball in the low post CP3 would flop on the first bump and the refs would give it to him thinking he truly was knocked down.
